Thrivin
Ryan Caraveo Lyrics

Teachers, they used to hate me
Used to ride in that Buick
Pretendin' it was Mercedes
Poof, made it reality
Used to be just fiction
Mama look, I'm finally a magician
Happened like abracadabra
My girl, she feel the same
And dudes used to laugh at her
Now they wonder how she doin'
Ask her, I'd be flattered
Her brain's been gettin' bigger
Ass been gettin' fatter, yeah
We been eatin' great, oh
Squeaky clean plates, oh
Imma' rub her feet, oh
She gon' feed me grapes, oh
Then we'll make a movie for a v, I'll leak the tape
No not really, but she's cheesin' now
You should see her face
Yeah, I'm good, yeah I'm fine
I don't wake up feelin' like I wanna die, no
'Cause I'm thrivin' now, I'm thrivin' now
Yeah, I'm thrivin' now, I'm thrivin' now
Yeah, I'm good, yeah, I'm fine
I don't do the shit I used to do to survive, no
'Cause I'm thrivin' now, I'm thrivin' now
Yeah, I'm thrivin' now, I'm thrivin' now
I just wanna say sorry
I have been oh so selfish
Livin' my life, not too involved in no one else's
I guess I got too greedy
Scared to love freely
Can't hold a conversation
Blamed it on my A.D.D
Yeah, I blamed it on my habitat, old habits that...
Die hard, doin' anything to have some racks
Stay runnin' game, always somethin' to slang
Louis belts and J's, ecstasy and yay
Used to post at the mall, bootleggin' Beats by Dre
Then commute for two hours to earn my minimum wage
And that's just ten percent of the ways that I got paid
The other ninety percent, I gotta take to the grave
Yeah, I'm good
Yeah, I'm fine
I don't wake up feelin' like I wanna die, no
'Cause I'm thrivin' now, I'm thrivin' now
Yeah, I'm thrivin' now
I'm thrivin' now
Yeah, I'm good
Yeah, I'm fine
I don't do the shit I used to do to survive, no
'Cause I'm thrivin' now, I'm thrivin' now
Yeah, I'm thrivin' now
I'm thrivin' now Yeah, I'm good, good, good
Yeah, I'm good, good, good
Yeah, I'm good, good, good
Yeah, I'm good, good, good Yeah, I'm good
Yeah, I'm fine
I don't do the shit I used to do to survive, no
'Cause I'm thrivin' now, I'm thrivin' now
Yeah, I'm thrivin' now
I'm thrivin' now
The first verse of the song "Thrivin" by Ryan Caraveo talks about his struggles in the past where he faced rejection from girls and teachers who used to hate him. He used to ride in a Buick pretending it was a Mercedes and now, he has turned his fiction into reality. Ryan has become a magician who has accomplished everything he had envisioned. He is proud to show his mother all that he has achieved. He talks about the change in his life that has made him thrive now. He has a girl who feels the same as he does and is amazed at how much he has grown. Ryan has finally started to thrive where he once struggled to survive.
In the second verse, Ryan Caraveo apologizes for being selfish and not being involved enough in other's lives. He admits to being greedy and scared to love freely. Ryan blames his A.D.D. for not holding a conversation for long. He used to be involved in illegal activities to have some money in his pocket. Ryan used to wear bootlegged headphones and shoes, and travel long hours to get minimum wage. He has come a long way from those dark times and is grateful for the positive changes in his life. Ryan Caraveo is thriving now, and thatโs all he knows.

If you have listened to all of Ryanโs songs hear me out:
1. Ryan started off by telling his fans who he was and where he grew up
2. He went on to express his depression and how he used drugs and alcohol to try to cure himself
3. Recently Ryan came out with a few songs that show his emotions trending to a happier vibe, battling his depression and trying to overcome it.
The past 5 years have been a crazy story and Iโm happy that Ryan is Thrivin now๐๐ป
