I just love that she chose this song, very eclectic. This is a wonderful and humorous song made famous by the Nat Cole trio in 1945. I recommend you give them a listen if you like old jazz! Nat was a brilliant pianist and vocalist.

Ryan Seacrest was lucky to have Ryan Starr sit next to him after Starr sang(at 2:19). It was too bad for Brian Dunkleman that Ryan Starr didn't sit next to him. Ryan Seacrest's hair looked totally different during Idol's season 1. He must have died his hair a blonde-brown mix back then.

This girl was GREAT. Her name is befitting because she is definitely a star. What she had I would actually compare it along the lines of what Madonna brought when she first came onto the scene in music. Definitely one of the most interesting and original contestants to ever appear in American Idol's run. I got SOOOOO sick of the endless parade of nothing new and non-original talent, or singers belting, throughout the show's run (though I actually got tired of the show -- finally -- and didn't watch the last few seasons, I must admit), but here was a genuinely eye-opening performer. Good singer, charismatic, very interesting, sexy, mega-watt star power... she deserved WAY better. (But I gotta say, I HATE this song; See, she even comes off great with a song that sucks.)

Below average...... I do give her credit for choosing a that song I think she could do a little better if she had better accompaniment. when ever I hear this tune I compare it to the Diana Krall version (hard to beat that)
