[MF Doom]
Yo, yo
Bring in the big guns, weapons is ready
In the square shoot the heady reppin the yeti is ready
Bout time last train from Gun Hill, Dunn chill
Stay filled with exhilaration from one kill

[Scott Free]
Yo, rock for ? row don't tempt me
Smack the drum black, black rap Jack Dempsey
You get laced without a trace just for takin up space

Bill Bill the bombville you still catch a Gas Face
For real

Overall Meaning

The lyrics of S.N.A.F.U’s song The Beginning Of features two rappers, MF Doom and Scott Free, trading rhymes about being ready for battle. MF Doom’s lines suggest that they are bringing out their heavy weapons and are prepared to fight a formidable foe, represented by the yeti. The phrase “shoot the heady” could also be a metaphor for targeting someone who is overconfident or arrogant. The reference to Gun Hill may be a nod to the 1959 western film of the same name, which is about a lawman seeking revenge for his wife’s murder. This line could mean that the rappers are ready for a showdown and won’t back down.

Scott Free’s verse highlights his skills as a rapper and his readiness to take on any challengers. The line “rock for ? row don’t tempt me” may be a reference to a specific location or neighborhood where the rapper has struggled, and he’s warning others not to mess with him. “Smack the drum black, black rap Jack Dempsey” refers to his ability to deliver powerful rhymes, like a boxer delivering knockout punches. The last two lines reference Gas Face, a slang term for being embarrassed or humiliated, and may suggest that even those who are confident will be brought down a notch by the rappers’ skills.

Overall, the lyrics of The Beginning Of convey a sense of readiness for battle and confidence in the rappers’ abilities. The use of metaphors and references to popular culture add depth and complexity to the lyrics, as well as a sense of fun and playfulness.

This was one of the first animes I ever watched in 2013 due to my friend's recommendation. And the first time I heard Yanagi Nagi's singing of Yukitoki.

Im so glad the anime ended in a way I wanted it to be.

It really feels weird that this show was with me for 7 years. I was in middle/highschool back then and now I graduated uni. If there are anyone out there who watched this series when it first came out like I did,

Well done. We made it. It was a long 7 years. It really feels weird to have the series finish after 7 years and looking back at myself when I first watched this series, I was so young and it just brought so many good memories back then.

I've been listening to Yanagi Nagi's oregairu OPs nonstope and to be honest, I dont think ill stop anytime soon.

Thank you Oregairu staff for bringing such high quality final season during the pandemic

Thank you Oregairu for my childhood and memories.

I know Im being overdramatic for an anime but it really hits me LOL

But yeah

Goodbye Hachiman, Yukinoshita, Yuigahama, Hiratsuka, Totsuka, Iroha, and Komachi.

Although the VAs will continue to be out there, but this will be the last time hearing these characters.
