I have an uncontrollable crying system, I can cry really easily and it makes me super self conscious, which just makes it worse. It was caused by stress from my father, I couldn't take what he was saying. He doesn't do it anymore, but he still forces me into stressful stuff. I can tell I have depression, I refuse to exercise or eat healthy. I also want and like to be alone. I don't know if that is an introvert thing, but I think I am considered heavily emotional. I’m happy to have a job but with furloughed team members there’s a lot more work for all of us. I am working from home but work feels like all I’m doing.

I have never really had a problem depression nor am I overly emotional, however over the pandemic I have been feeling frustrated, sad, angry, and just out of wack in general. However I found a way to channel this anger into exercise and have lost 10 lbs.

I don't know if I'm an exception, but this crisis has helped me personally a lot. I've had more time to improve my grades in school, I get to wake up later, and I feel less stressed in general. Can anybody relate?

All i wanna say is, if your feeling sad.
Try to think about your situation a positive good thing. For example, someone close to you has passed away, well they are in a better place in peace now, dont worry you will see them after. Another example, if you broke you with your soulmate, theres billions of people in this world that will be a better one.

As for how I'm feeling. I feel just fine. Bored as all. It's not that I don't need to do anything I just don't let myself get depressed. I find a way to come out on top and don't let failure or anxiousness get to me. Don't let it get to you either

When I'm stressed out or sad from my studies, I tend to clean or cook to let my mind clear itself. Periodic breaks helps sure, and if not that, I just stop and listen to my "Feels" playlist

well for me I felt sad for almost 2 years since I meet a girl that I liked so much on school and sort of had a slight obsession for her because she was so different compared with the other girls basically she was like the goth type but with a fun personality and the other girls were either slutty or not much my type because I kinda wanted a girl that likes video games and some rock music or dubstep music and so she randomly left school then I grew sad to the point of getting depressed because I actually wanted to see someone else like her because she felt like the only one that I feel that I would do anything for her

This week has actually been quite hard for me, with an untimely death and not being able to speak to anyone about it has really put me into a lower state than normal. I have gotten n more arguments than usual and broke down, felt upset for three days then I talked to one of my friends. I cried but after I felt better, and I think it there's a reason why I found this video in my suggested feed, someone's looking out for me, and that's enough to make me happy. Thank you, guys.

That's what happens when you allow yourself to get swept away in the emotions you're trying to explore.

The point of exploring your negative emotions is to inspect them and find their root causes so that you're properly armed to healthily address those things when the time comes to confront them. Admittedly, it's not something that everyone can do flawlessly from the start, though the same can be said for any other skill. It takes practice to stay in control of yourself while you do it and it won't always be a smooth and/or clean trip but, with time, patience, and help from people that you can trust, you'll start to get better at it.

I needed this.
I have a best friend that moved to another borough. I know this is not much, but it’s still really sad for me. Now I have only my two other best friends but it’s still not the same. I wish she could stay at our school. Over the phone today we made up a story about her Manhattan apartment flying to The Bronx that hopefully would make us lighter but I still felt sad because it would not ever happen. And recently, going through the time of my life where you worry about death and stuff makes me feel even sadder. Not crying today about that will go up on my Wall Of Achievements, but I’ll still probably sob at night like always.

A part of me moved right along with her to her apartment, that part of me left, that part of me died inside. We are still so close yet so far apart. Carolina, if you see this, know that I am sad and you forever will live in my heart, but not in my school, omigosh I wanna stop right now imma bout to cry

Now my life is messed up cuz 2 other friends are moving away. I’m dead. I wish.

Yeah, I've been told ALL of my life that crying makes you weak, and every time I cried in front of my dad, he told me to suck it up and stop crying.

So, I barely cry anymore.
