1) The SRC (short for The Scot Richard Case) was a Detroit/Ann Arbor based rock band from the late 1960's. From 1965 to 1970 they were a staple at many legendary Detroit rock venues such as The Grande Ballroom which is perhaps best remembered as the setting in which the MC5 album Kick out the Jams was recorded.
Originally called the Ravins and then the Fugitives and formed by guitarists Steve Lyman and Gary Quackenbush, the early core of the group was granted an audition with Motown Records founder Berry Gordy, Jr. who turned them down for lack of an established stage show. However, a new shape of the band began to appear after a meeting with a well known Ann Arbor area manager by the name of Hugh "Jeep" Holland.
Holland, also a record store manager & actual record label boss - A-Square, served as Russ Gibb's booking agent and was associated with many of the top Detroit based artists of his time such as MC5, Bob Seger, The Rationals, The Amboy Dukes and The Thyme. While originally impressed with the band's sound, he felt it lacked a "front man" and chose to select a new singer for the band before he would sign and manage them. In the selection process Holland narrowed the search down to two singers to place in the band: Scott Richardson, the singer of a local band known as the Chosen Few or a young stock boy at his store by the name of James Osterberg (known to the masses as Iggy Pop ) who he would later place with The Psychedelic Stooges.
Also of note; in one of the later incarnations of the SRC, was a guitarist named James Williamson. As the scene in Ann Arbor/Detroit area was a local hotbed of talent, eventually the aforementioned James Osterberg (Iggy Stooge/Iggy Pop) seeing limitations in his own band which he didn't like, approached and recruited James into his own (Iggy's) band. Dropping bass player Dave Alexander, and moving Ron Asheton over to that position, gave the exact lineup for the band that recorded and handed to the world; Iggy and the Stooges "Raw Power".
2) SRC ( http://www.last.fm/music/SRC+%282%29) is an up and coming Grime producer from Birmingham, UK. His sharp, twisted instrumentals glean influence from veteran producer Terror Danjah, with video game noises, mutated basslines and 8-bit style synths forming the basis for his music.

Heat wave
Whenever I'm with you
Something inside
Starts to burn deep
And my heart's filled with fire
Could be that I'm very sentimental
I got a heat wave
Burning in my heart
I can't keep from crying
Tearing me apart
Sometimes she calls my name
Yeah, yeah, yeah, I can't explain
I feel, yeah I feel
I feel this burning flame
This high blood pressure's got a hold on me
'Cause this is the way love's supposed to be
I got a heat wave
Burning in my heart
I can't keep from crying
Tearing me apart
Oh yeah
Oh yeah
Oh yeah
Oh yeah
Just give me another chance
This could be a new romance

The song "Heatwave" by SRC is a classic love song about the intensity of passion and the overwhelming emotions that come with it. The lyrics express the intense feelings that the singer experiences whenever he is with his loved one. The title itself is representative of the passionate and fiery emotions that the singer feels inside. The opening lines, "Whenever I'm with you/Something inside/Starts to burn deep" perfectly captures the intense physical sensation that many people feel when they are with someone they deeply care about.
The lyrics go on to question whether these feelings are normal or if they are a result of sentimentalism. However, this questioning is quickly forgotten as the intense passion takes over again. The chorus is a powerful refrain about the physical and emotional effects of love: "I got a heat wave/Burning in my heart/I can't keep from crying/Tearing me apart." The singer is clearly overwhelmed by the intense emotions that he feels, and the song suggests that these emotions are both powerful and uncontrollable.
Overall, "Heatwave" is an excellent example of the power and passion that can be expressed through music. The lyrics capture the intensity and overwhelming nature of love and infatuation, while the music itself is powerful, loud, and energetic, underscoring the emotions expressed in the lyrics.
