Grrt, boom, boom
Lil Tjay
Oh, oh
Uh

Streets got 'em, ain't no savin' them boys
Grandma tryna pray to the Lord
Raise hell if they take one of yours
My lil' shorty gon' slide when he bored
Lil' nigga off the porch tryna score
Took a loss and that hurt to the core
Don't matter how much drugs I did
How much weed I hit, how much lean I pour
I don't wanna cry no more (no, no, no)
Uh, I don't wanna cry no more (no, no, no, no, no)
Uh, I don't wanna cry no more (no, no, no, no, no)
Uh, I don't wanna cry no more (no, no, no, no)

Stood over bro on the floor dyin'
Thinkin' homicide, wasn't no cryin'
Hop out, glizzies, forties, and .45s
Lookin' for the killers, ain't no time
'Member we was drillin', oh, what a feelin'
We ain't give a fuck about no time
That was before time, run on the opp, now it's your time
Clips is extended for showtime
Woke up, hit bro line
Back out in traffic before nine
We load it up, went on both sides
It's different phases, I did it perfect, amazin'
Been on them bitches with no minds
I saw 'em bail out, headshot four times (uh)
Baby mama fell on the floor cryin'
Went on a hit, had to look before firin'
'Cause my auntie, she shot with they dope line
Lost too many niggas, when they died, I ain't even cry
I ain't even feel it, I can't even lie
Stayin' in my city, I might end up a homicide
Two gun cases 'cause I'm traumatized
Plus the police wanna kill a nigga, I wonder why?
Bulletproof lack when I'm comin' by (ayy)
Ain't no savin' 'em boys, I'ma still be the one to try
Hopefully, ain't gotta kill one of mine

Streets got 'em, ain't no savin' them boys
Grandma tryna pray to the Lord
Raise hell if they take one of yours
My lil' shorty gon' slide when he bored
Lil' nigga off the porch tryna score
Took a loss and that hurt to the core
Don't matter how much drugs I did
How much weed I hit, how much lean I pour
I don't wanna cry no more (no, no, no)
Uh, uh, I don't wanna cry no more (no, no, no)
Uh, I don't wanna cry no more (no, no, no)
Uh, I don't wanna cry no more (no, no)

If he talkin' out his mouth, break his jaw
Mind fucked, for the fallen, I'ma pour
Pain runnin' through my body, can't ignore
Cold world got my heart so sore
I ain't tryna feel pain no more
Can't change, I'ma bang that four
Why you tryna live the gang life for?
Don't cap, this lane not yours
I was a young nigga misled every day
Used to stay in the streets, huh
Hustlin', I couldn't miss bread
Run that bag every day of the week, huh
Nigga try me and get hit dead
All of my young niggas playin' for keeps, huh
So you better off focusin' instead
Better not go that way, it get deep, huh
I'm smokin' dummy, it's bustin'
This shit to the point that a nigga can't feel nothin'
New opposition, I'm rushin'
I told all my shooters like hawk and go kill somethin'
I lost a couple of soldiers
I keep goin' over so now I don't feel nothin'
Cryin', I'm lettin' that steel drum
We gon' spin through the opps and they still run

Streets got 'em, ain't no savin' them boys
Grandma tryna pray to the Lord
Raise hell if they take one of yours
My lil' shorty gon' slide when he bored
Lil' nigga off the porch tryna score
Took a loss and that hurt to the core
Don't matter how much drugs I did
How much weed I hit, how much lean I pour
I don't wanna cry no more (no, no, no)
Uh, uh, I don't wanna cry no more (no, no, no)

Uh, I don't wanna cry no more (no, no, no)
Uh, uh, I don't wanna cry no more (no, no)

Overall Meaning

The song "No More" by S G featuring Lil Tjay is a raw and emotional portrayal of life in the streets and the toll it takes on those involved. The opening lines set the tone for the rest of the song, with the lyrics "Streets got 'em, ain't no savin' them boys/ Grandma tryna pray to the Lord/ Raise hell if they take one of yours." The singer is painting a picture of a dangerous and unforgiving world where violence is a constant threat and those who are lost to it cannot be saved.

Throughout the song, the singer describes the pain and trauma that he has experienced, including losing friends and family members to violence, being traumatized by gun violence himself, and using drugs as a coping mechanism. The refrain of "I don't wanna cry no more" repeats throughout the song, emphasizing the emotional toll that this lifestyle takes on those who live it.

The song also highlights the code of the streets, where loyalty and revenge are valued above all else. The lyrics "My lil' shorty gon' slide when he bored/ Lil' nigga off the porch tryna score/ Took a loss and that hurt to the core" describe the dedication to one's crew and the willingness to take revenge for those who have been lost.

Overall, "No More" is a powerful and introspective look at life in the streets, with a haunting refrain that stays with the listener long after the song has ended.

Jane Marie Fuentes

"Mr Willin Low, pointed out that while music is not allowed in his modern Singaporean restaurant Roketto Izakaya in Amoy Street, a gym nearby was blaring music loudly during a class where members were exercising without masks and sweating while the instructor was yelling at them.

"How is that different from my restaurant?" he asked."

Great question.

Anyone? Any ideas on this logic which defies all logic and all data?

"Chef-owner Dave Pynt of Burnt Ends, echoed the sentiment. "There is a lack of logic with the rules applied among the different sectors because you can have 100 people sitting in an airplane eating with their masks off. And is not having music really going to have an impact on Covid-19 transmission?"

He also questioned the rationale of not allowing a family of five to dine together. "Does the family create more risk than when they are at home? We just want to understand what we are trying to achieve. Now we have no idea of the goals for the industry."

Every press conference is just an opportunity to self-praise.....

@coshinc We have been united thus far? are we winning??? I believe in results... not empty talk...

Alzario

And also to show their failure and fickle minded... 🤣

coshinc

Every press conference is to update the progress and share with us the constants.
We have to be united to win this battle. Not time for cynicism

Keep emphasising on the pressure of the healthcare system and not finding out the root cause. The daily cases vs country's vacination rate graph is the answer. Lame af.

Freddy

So a family has to sit apart at a restaurant even though they probably shared the same cab and live in the same house before coming to the restaurant. Great logic.

Xavier M

nonsense policies, been like this during all covid. now is just so embarrassing to watch.

@Peanut Ann oh I see… there are plenty more Asian countries that prohibits protest… where than do you place the rest of entire Asia… planet Mars? 😂

Peanut Ann

@엘리야 all other countries in Asia, except for China and NK, can go on strikes and protests easily. Here, we even need to 'apply' for nonsense permits from the gov to go on peaceful protests. Ridiculous to the maximum, it's no different from China and NK. Authoritarian gov using democracy as a disguise and using high salary as a 'non corruption' when it's just open corruption.

Jovin Lai

But yeah the logic of sitting apart REALLY is senseless because that actually exposes us to even higher risk by being served by more waiters and occupying more public space than necessary 🙄
