Time After Time
Sabo & Zeb Lyrics

Every time the bus stopped a recorded voice announced where they were. Gaspard knew that Finty was going to Hyde Park for the concert, so he listened carefully to be ready to surprise them when they got off.

They passed Islington Green' with the war memorial that looked like a big stone doughnut.
Shop-workers ate their lunch there, dropping tasty leftovers which Gaspard found after dark.
Museum Street' had a grand church where a lion chased a unicorn around the tower.
On the next corner was a shop that only sold umbrellas,
hundreds of them in different colours.

Gaspard wasn't bothered by rain but he didn't like the wind which buffeted his fur and blew away all his familiar smells.
The bus turned down a narrow street of shops selling every kind of musical instrument. People trying them out made a terrible din! Not the sort of music Peter would approve of.
Chinatown' was a feast for his senses: restaurant windows hung with roast duck, the clatter of noisy kitchens and delicious smells that tantalised his nostrils.

Theatres with brightly lit signs enticed tourists to see their shows

Then Piccadilly'. Gaspard liked the way the recorded woman said the word, PEEK-A-DEELY'

Television screens larger than houses advertised cars, drinks and clothing.
