Yeah
How dare I? Lie right to you
Damn, the nerve, girl, I ain't shit
Then get mad when you pull up
Unannounced you 'bout to flip
I flip the switch, I made you mad
I cheated many times, you took me back and played the fool
So when you keyed my car
I'm deservin' you were hurtin' 'cause I keyed your heart (damn)
And girl when you threw my phone
I had that comin', yeah, incomin' 'cause I did you wrong
We men, gotta stop callin' y'all crazy
Y'all ain't crazy, y'all just hurtin', y'all just tired
Y'all just fed up, y'all just, we just fired
No if's, no but's, no if's, no but's or maybe's
We men gotta stop callin' y'all crazy
Y'all ain't crazy, y'all just hurtin', y'all just tired
Y'all just fed up, y'all just, we just fired
No if's, no but's, no if's, no but's or maybe's
We men gotta stop callin'-
What if the shoe was on the other foot?
Stayed out all night, no text back, yeah
I'm checkin' in, no check back, yeah
You ain't droppin' your pin, where you at, girl?
My mind goin' cray, no flexin'
Wonderin' 'bout who you sexin'
Wonderin' 'bout who laid up with you
Got me outta my zone, baby, answer your phone
So when you keyed my car
I'm deservin' you were hurtin' (yeah I deserved that shit)
'Cause I keyed your heart (I keyed your heart, yeah, I scratched it up, woah)
And girl when you threw my phone
I had that comin', yeah, incomin' 'cause I did you wrong
We men, gotta stop callin' y'all crazy
Y'all ain't crazy, y'all just hurtin', y'all just tired
Y'all just fed up, y'all just, we just fired
No if's, no but's, no if's, no but's or maybe's (oh, no, no, no)
We men gotta stop callin' y'all crazy
Y'all ain't crazy, y'all just hurtin', y'all just tired
Y'all just fed up, y'all just, we just fired (yeah)
No if's, no but's, no if's, no but's or maybe's
We men gotta stop callin' y'all crazy
I'm drivin' you crazy, crazy, crazy, crazy, crazy
We men gotta stop callin' y'all crazy
The song "Crazy" by Sammie is a heartfelt apology to a woman who he had treated poorly in their relationship. He admits that he lied and cheated, and deserved her anger and retaliation. He acknowledges that women are often labeled as "crazy" when they are simply hurting and fed up with the behavior of their partner. He empathizes with her emotions and takes responsibility for his actions.
The chorus of the song is a call for men to stop dismissing women's emotions and instead listen to their grievances. It is a plea for men to recognize the hurt and pain that they cause and to take accountability for their actions. Sammie's lyrics give voice to the often unacknowledged emotions of women in relationships and serves as a reminder to treat them with empathy and respect.
One interesting fact about the song is that it samples the classic R&B song "The Masquerade Is Over" by David Porter. Another interesting fact is that the music video for the song features cameos by singer Rotimi and actors Darrin Henson and Terri Vaughn. Additionally, the song received critical acclaim and was praised for its honest and vulnerable lyrics.
