Since 2001 he has released 4 new albums + 3 live albums that are exclusively available on his official website.
He presents his music as POST MILLENNIUM ROCK, its main elements are heart and soul, its nature is passion, courage and curiosity and it acknowledges no rules but the goal to lead the listener back to his heart, to provoke his mind and re-approach him to his true feelings.
He says that he had his light switched on at the age of 2 by the music of the Beatles and has been a fool for music ever since. "I have suffered music and she has suffered me and there is no doubt that she has seen my willingness to bear her love even in the darkest hours and because of that we have earned one another's trust and our bond is close and deep. I would die for the music and in fact already have".
He is currently on tour in Europe with his band The Nudge Nudge for the 'POST MILLENNIUM ROCK TOUR 2010'.

Kangaroo
Sananda Maitreya Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
But I can't complain
Will I ever learn to jump like you?
I've got some pains that I can't explain
But I can't complain
Will I ever learn to jump like you?
(And Kangaroo says):
Still they lead you safely back home
And all those millions that you left behind
Still there are many millions to find
I've got a feeling I can't explain
But I can't complain
Will I ever learn to jump like you?
I gave it all and I gave it well
But it went to hell
Will I ever learn to jump like you?
(And Kangaroo says):
And all those roads that do not lead to Rome
Still they lead you safely back home
And all those ladies whose faith you broke apart
They left you with a soft spot in your heart
I've got a son who breaks my balls
But I'd give him all
Will I ever learn to jump like you?
I've got a life I can't explain
But I can't complain
Will I ever learn to jump like you?
Will I ever learn to jump like you?
Will I ever learn to jump like you?
I've got a woman I can't explain
I've got a woman I can't explain
I've got a woman I can't explain
The lyrics of Sananda Maitreya's song Kangaroo seem to be about a person's struggles in life, but they can't complain. The chorus repeats the same line, questioning whether they will ever learn to jump like a kangaroo. The Kangaroo is acting like a wise mentor, saying that the roads that don't lead to Rome still lead you home safely, and all the people you've left behind or hurt, there are still so many others to find. The Kangaroo's advice is to keep moving forward, to keep jumping.
The verses reveal snippets of the singer's life - a woman they can't explain, pains they can't explain, a feeling they can't explain, but they can't complain. They've given it all and it went to hell, but they still want to learn to jump like the kangaroo. The last verse mentions the singer's son who breaks their balls (meaning gives them a hard time), but they still love him and would give him everything. The singer still can't explain their life, but again, they can't complain. The repetition of "I've got a woman I can't explain" at the end seems to suggest that this woman might be the cause of some of their struggles.

I love the song, actually I love the whole CD. The video reminds me of something from the 1980s that would be on heavy rotation on MTV. That's not a bad thing.............I like it.

Fuck whatever "glory" could have been. You're so much meaningful today than when Sony was trying to turn you into a cash cow. From "Neither" through "Vibrator" through today, you're always been able to take risks, and we music lovers will always be grateful and will make your art be known.
