Let It Snow

But the fire is so delightful
And since we've no place to go
Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow
No, it doesn't show signs of stopping
And I brought some corn for popping
The lights are turned way down low
When we finally kiss good night
How I'll hate going out in the storm
But if you really hold me tight
All the way home I'll be warm
The fire is slowly dying
And, my dear, we're still good-bye-ing
But as long as you love me so
Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow
When we finally kiss good night
How I'll hate going out in the storm
But if you really hold me tight
All the way home I'll be warm
The fire is slowly dying
And, my dear, we're still good-bye-ing
But as long as you love me so
Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow
Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow
Scotty McCreery's song "Let It Snow" is an enchanting winter love song that is perfect for the holiday season. The song starts with the singer, who is enjoying the warmth of a fire in the midst of a fierce snowstorm. Despite the unpleasant weather conditions outside, he is content with being at home with his beloved. As the chorus kicks in, he declares that he is prepared for the snow to continue, encouraging it to fall and blanket the world around them.
The lyrics depict a scene of intimacy and warmth as the singer's attention shifts to his romantic interest. Although he knows he will have to venture out into the cold winter storm, he relishes the thought of holding his partner tight in his arms. He finds solace in the fact that their love is strong enough to weather any challenge thrown their way. In the final repetition of the chorus, the singer is hopeful that their love will keep them warm despite the fire slowly dying out.
