Seven, of Puerto Rican decent, wrote his first rhyme in 1987. He was born in New York and was raised in Santurce, Puerto Rico. Around the age of 12 Seven and his mother packed up and moved to Miami, Florida due to the lack of jobs in P.R. With a Christian background he and his mother began going to church. Various talent shows and events at church helped him better his skills as a writer and performer. When the time came to proceed beyond his religous beliefs and begin his individual evolution his journey really began. To hear Seven Star is to hear the mind and wisdom of the ancients speak through him. Touching on all subjects relating to humanity from man-women realtionships to the injustices bestowed on the natives of the island once known as Borike'n, Seven' message is universal and his flow and delivery will inspire, whether spoken or written. His honesty will make you think and react in the tradition of those who inspired him such as Malcolm X, Pedro Albizu Campos, KRS-1 and Ginsberg.
