2. Shag was one of many aliases of British pop producer and songwriter, Jonathan King. He called himself Shag for the 1972 bubblegum / novelty single, 'Loop Di Love'.

Can’t believe this is already 10 years old. This song still sounds brand new and instantly became one of my all time favorites when I first heard it. Has an amazing lofi beat with perfectly mixed tribe called quest samples which took a very long time for others to catch on. It’s really cool seeing people having memories with these songs and ended up experiencing the music of the future basically. Timeless classic. ❤
