Gimme some love (x4)

What you desire , what you want is may be no' what I need.
That's da same bada BOoGIE 'bout da cosa I did
Well I don't give a shit if we split today 'cause
What we shoulda woulda coulda do, nobody knows
You loved the way I talked, 'was one of those frenchies
Con da palabra shaka cool : for "face" I say "fiz"
You gotta hide tu cara con da sunglasses
'Cause now t’s not the same tone : for "sad" I say "swiz"

Watch'a !

Gimme some love (x4)
Hey boy would you tell me how much you love me (maybe someday) (x4)
Hey, maybe someday (x2)

Easy come easy go, one day "yes" the next day "no"
Schizophrenetica loca niña (loca niña)
From sweety to weepy now ya blow up on me
Well I don't give a shit let's split baby please
I loved the way you danced with da pink panties
And your booty shaka tight I was on my knees
You were the girl with the ass and the sunglasses
But now ts’not the same tone : for "sad" I say "swiz"

Watch'a !
Gimme some love (x4)

Hey boy would you tell me how much you love me (maybe someday) (x4)
Hey, maybe someday (x2)

Hey boy how much you love me (x3)
Hey boy would you tell me how much you love me

Gimme your soul
I cannot breath without you
'Cannot live if you let me go away
I am nada sin-tou.

Gimme some love

Overall Meaning

In the song "Sum' luv'" by Shaka Ponk, the lyrics delve into the complexities of desires, needs, and the uncertainties in relationships. The repetitive plea of "Gimme some love" throughout the song reflects a craving for affection and connection. The opening lines touch on the discrepancy between what one desires and what one truly needs, suggesting that what may be desired is not necessarily beneficial or fulfilling. There is a dismissive attitude towards potential conflicts or separations, with the idea that nobody truly knows what could have been or should have been.

The lyrics also highlight cultural references and language play, such as using French words like "fiz" for face and "swiz" for sad. This adds a playful and quirky element to the song, emphasizing the uniqueness of the interactions and communication within the relationship being depicted. The mention of hiding behind sunglasses and changing tones suggests a shift in emotions and dynamics, indicating a disconnect or change in the relationship's atmosphere.

The mention of a tumultuous relationship dynamic is evident in phrases like "Easy come easy go, one day 'yes' the next day 'no'" and the reference to a "schizophrenetica loca niña" transitioning from sweetness to tears. The lyrical imagery conveys a sense of unpredictability and emotional ups and downs in the relationship, culminating in a plea for understanding and love. There is a sense of resignation and acceptance of the uncertainties and complexities in relationships, with the repeated refrain of "maybe someday" hinting at a hope for reconciliation or clarity in the future.

In the final verses, the plea for love deepens as the singer implores for their partner's soul, conveying a sense of desperation and dependency on their love for sustenance and existence. The sentiment of not being able to breathe or live without the other person underscores the intensity of the emotions involved. The overall message of the song seems to be a blend of playfulness, vulnerability, and longing, capturing the intricate layers of human relationships and the yearning for love and connection amidst the turmoil and uncertainty.

JE KIF GRAVE !!!

Priam
