After graduating from Christ for the Nations and Dallas Baptist University, she has continued in this calling leading worship and ministering in music both internationally and at her local church, also joining forces with worship leaders & ministries such as Paul Baloche, Ross Parsley, Jared Anderson, The Desperation Band, Scott Krippayne, Revive Our Hearts & Day of Discovery. As a songwriter, Shannon’s songs have been utilized by Integrity Music, Maranatha! Music, LifeWay Worship, PBS, Discovery House Music, The Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir, Worship Leader Magazine’s Song DISCovery and local churches around the world. She has recorded four worship artist projects of her own, which can be found at www.shannonwexelberg.com.
Most importantly and best of all, Shannon loves Jesus. She is grateful that through each and every difficult season of her life, God has proven Himself faithful time and again and has taught her more about Himself. It is during these times that she has most learned what worship really looks like. More than a song, it is a posture of heart and a lifestyle. Shannon loves to travel and minister, but more than anything she loves to be on the home front with her husband and six year old son, enjoying family, friends, church & life in the Rocky Mountains.
Psalm 23
Shannon Wexelberg Lyrics

I shall not want
You make me lie down
In pastures so green
You lead me beside
Waters so calm
And You are restoring
Restoring me
You lead me in paths
of Your righteousness
All for the sake of Your name
And If I walk through the valley
of the shadow of death
I will not be afraid
No, I will not be Afraid
For You are my Shepherd
And You go with me
Your rod and Your staff
Bring comfort and peace
You set me a table
Before my enemies
You anoint me with oil
My cup is overflowing
Each day Your goodness and mercy will be
Following hard after me
And I will dwell in the house of my Savior and King
For all eternity
For all eternity
You are my Shepherd
I shall not want
You make me lie down
In pastures so green
You lead me beside
Waters so calm
And You are restoring
Restoring me
You are restoring
Restoring me
I know...
You're restoring
Restoring me
In Shannon Wexelberg's song Psalm 23, she describes the relationship between God and His people through the metaphor of a shepherd and his sheep. The lyrics convey a sense of security and trust as the singer acknowledges God as her shepherd who provides for her every need. God is portrayed as the protector who leads her to green pastures and calm waters, restoring her strength and peace. Even in the darkest of valleys, the singer shows great faith and trust in God, knowing that He will always be with her, providing her with comfort and peace through His rod and staff. The lyrics also convey a deep sense of gratitude to God, who sets a banquet for her in the midst of her enemies, anoints her with oil, and fills her cup to overflowing.
Overall, the song is a powerful reflection on the unwavering love and care that God has for His people, and the singer's response of trust and thankfulness in this unchanging love. The song invites the listener to reflect on their own relationship with God, and to rest in the assurance that He is always with them, even in the darkest of valleys.

Most beautiful song 2021...We should be just as these animals trusting fully in God for our daily bread...and being restored to our status before the fall of Adam. It's on repeat💜😇
