I think that this is the most remarcable duet in genre of pop music. Now, I will explain why:

The outstanding reason is the bridge. Even if we put aside that the whole part is just like a talk with evolution between the charachters who they represent, people who are in a relationship trying to solve their issue. All that is great, yes.

But I want to underline the way the tense is growing in the bridge with that intensity. It is like something with transmissions and on every period a new transmission is set up.
