distort into me
She Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

Spinning around in circles,
She's crying again.
But her teardrops won't go in vain.
Leaving aside the pain...

Cause she knows that her love might see her again...

Overall Meaning

The opening lyrics of the song 'She's' speak about a girl who is in a state of emotional distress, crying and spinning around in circles. Despite the pain she is experiencing, the girl holds onto hope that her love will come back to her, giving her tears meaning and significance. The lyrics express the complex and often conflicting emotions involved in love and heartbreak - the sadness and pain that come with loss, but also the resilience and hope that love can bring.

The chorus of the song serves to reinforce this message, with the repeated line 'she's waiting for love'. This line emphasizes the girl's sense of hope and expectation, conveying the sense of longing and anticipation that comes with waiting for something or someone that we deeply desire. The song also contains several references to the power of the ocean and the moon, which can be interpreted as symbols of the cyclical nature of love and the way that emotions can ebb and flow like the tides.

Overall, 'She's' is a powerful and evocative song that captures the complexity of human emotions and the way that love can both lift us up and tear us apart.

OH SHIT
I just realized something
The opening of the song, as people have noted, carries the lietmotif of Make Me Real. I noticed at the end that it seemed to distort a bit until it sounded like another song... but it just hit me what song it is: Reborn, from She's first ever album, Emit And Exude.
I think there's some form of significant transformation occurring in this piece...

In Electronic Music the standard length for songs seems to range from 3-5 minutes depending on genre, genres like house though tend to average more around 5-7 minutes.
