In 2010, her management agency got her a record deal with Warner Music Hong Kong. She then released her first EP with Warner and shot a few movies, mainly about night life and clubbing. She rose to fame in 2012 when the lyric video of her song "It Stops Here" became viral. She has since released a number of moody sad songs which are all about breaking up. The videos of these songs have reached millions of views on YouTube. Shiga has been named the new sensation of the digital age. In June 2017, Shiga terminated her contract with Warner Music. She has joined hmv MUSIC afterwards, the newly established label by her management agency.
