Shine Lyrics

Overall Meaning

The lyrics of Xin Jin Re by Shine tell a story of two cowboys in the west of Arkansas, who have traveled 8,000 kilometers and settled in the vast wilderness where the temperature is 45 degrees Celsius. They work hard to dig and mine, day and night, to build railway tracks with the belief that they will find a precious stone that will shine brightly. The song highlights the theme of hope and perseverance in the face of adversity. The cowboys do not seek gold but rather search for something more valuable than wealth, the freedom and happiness that comes with not being greedy. The lyrics suggest that true equality can be found by appreciating what we already have and that we should never give up on our dreams, no matter how difficult they may seem.

This is my favourite katha. At low points in my life, I usually perform it to calm myself down. It's helped me so much.

McAdoo Martial Arts Academy

One of my favorite Kata to perform. It's always interesting to see the changes and differences in styles, traditional, and sport karate.

Rafael Vasconcellos

This has been my favorite kata since I was a kid

Bukel

I always loved doing Saifa

Picolas Cage

I happen to be learning this kata right now for my brown belt. This is really helpful because I can almost never find someone doing it the same way that I’m learning to do it, but this is exactly the same.

Sidney Anderson

That's a unique interpretation of that particular Kata. I'd love to know the reasons behind it. He paused where I would traditionally go fast and went fast through where I would go slower.

Interesting.

José Carlos Medina Vences

Maybe different styles, idk

Soulful Keys

Also he didn’t do the butt thrust with the elbows. That’s actually the correct Shitoryu technique. As the elbows come out you thrust backwards with your butt at the same time it’s actually two attacks in one - didn’t see it hear.

apatheticsquid

@Soulful Keys it's also the same for Goju-Ryu. I wonder why...

Sniperzz100

I love performing this Kata. It looks amazing when performed correctly
