That would be me. I didn't have internet back in 2008 and I played Zelda 2 on the GBA. Went around in circles so much but also gain exp at the same time while looking for info in villages and look at already destroyed temples.

I've been putting off playing Adventure of Link for a long time cause I heard it was really hard. I finally got around to it early this week and Im already at the final temple. I've always been complaining about how the new Zelda games don't have that much of a challenge. Now I know AoL is really fun and one of the best Zelda games. I don't know why I never played it years ago!

I remember I was once playing as Ness, against 3 others and they were beating tha hell out of me, until the last minute, when I though "I'll obviously loose", I suddenly began to do movements not even I knew I could do and apparently I won the battle without realising ._., I even recorded that, I'll might upload it someday xD

I will always wonder why Smash Bros calls it "Temple" when "Temples" didn't exist in Zelda II since they were called Palaces, and they were called Dungeons in Zelda 1

I used to dislike this song because it displaced the classic version. In fact, I disliked a lot of Brawl music for being too different because I liked the more direct/simple arrangements in Melee and 64. However, I am kind of glad to hear this second version of this song after all these years. Possibly the best song in Melee and it is nice to have a second version in addition to the Zelda 2 original.

I was stuck on it to for awhile.Its hard(i once got an match after waiting around 30 minutes),but not impossible to get people playing against you(or anyone).Best is still asking people if they want an match against you.But i have to warn you about something.If the oppoment or you got on horrible internet connection,the gamplay will lag (either mildly of intensiv).

@BigBenClockTower This is why there are few "good" Zelda players. Learning to play Zelda means you also need to learn to play Sheik, as both of them have a very different role. It takes a certain degree of patience too, as because you can't approach, many opponents will try and force you to do so so they can get the upper-hand. In the hyper-offensive Brawl meta-game that currently exists, Zelda is low-tier because she can't play a good pressure approach (unlike, say, Dedede or Meta Knight).

@MBlueFlame Actually, they do fight, you just have to know how to get them to fight without being teamed on. I can be both. (I fight, but if there is 3 taunt party people there, I guess I go with them.) I fight great so it doesn't matter which side I'm on. I'll tell you this, if you are looking for fighting, you might as well exit and re enter Basic Brawl until you find more fighters, because I wouldn't suggest hitting a taunter. Half of those taunters are f*cking good at fighting. xD

Fun Fact: next to every game with online multiplayer has had some semblance of it's playerbase not taking the game seriously. If you have such a problem with online then play with other folks like real Smash fans.

All I see when I see Zelda is the fear inducing F-air and B-air that can make or break amazing kills, unlike the knee which can be used to start a gimp if you miss the sweetspot, the kicks have very little if you miss, but god help me when you can get a hit its so satisfying.

Actually it was more the taunts and a multitude of things that require any degree of setup or skill, but won't occur in normal play. Example; when was the last time you saw a glider go around the ENTIRE stage in a normal fight? As in full 360 degree loop.

@Chaoswave92 Sigh, did you ever play Zelda 2? The first 40 seconds are the music of the Great palace which is the final level in Zelda 2 whereas the "original" is the music used in all the other temples. Granted this version hasn't done the original Zelda 2 Great Palace theme justice but it's still a good song.

That's because they had no intention to do team battles in the first place. Three vs one fights usually occur when one player is disturbing a taunt party. You just hit one of them and they all gun after you.

@KirbysDreamLand3 Thing is, you're assuming you'll annoy the opponent Zelda enough to have her start an offense. If this is the case, you haven't played against a "good" Zelda yet. There's a good Zelda, and then there is a "good" Zelda. "Good" Zelda's will never start an offense, because of the fact that too many characters can get a clear upper hand on her. If she needs to start an offense, she should start one as Sheik instead, which a lot of people forget.

@KirbysDreamLand3 To be fair, Zelda wasn't ever meant to be an initiator. If you want an initiator, play Sheik. Zelda is designed to force her foe to approach her, which is accomplished easily with Din's Fire and Nayru's Love forming a rather attractive poke and defend combo. Once close to her, Zelda's attacks and throws all have very nice knockback and damage, and most of them initiate rather fast, her throws in particular. People suck with Zelda because they try and mount a pressure offense.

When I would play I was Kirby on free for all and everyone teamed up on me.Then finally I played as sonic and beat them then they left the game I don't know why but I think they wanna get like a winning streak.That annoyed me the way they teamed up on me I got furious and I finally killed them all

@KirbysDreamLand3 Unfortunately, I must concede here. I've not kept up to date with recent Brawl rulesets (for tournament play). So I decided to update myself on it. While I disagree with it, percent determines matches in which time expires and stocks are equal as of recent tournament rules. I do have several disagreements with this "percentage rule", but you guys decide, not the general populace.

@PonineTeazerBlaze I hear ya! She's my best too, she and Peach XD. I never undersrtood why she was put bottom tier in Brawl and what, Low tier in Melee?? Her Brawlcoming was an improvement. At least 100% and you just need to dash attack, jump, fair or bair lol. She has some sick combos, her fireballs can lead into combos, or end combos, and she's wayy better than Sheik. All in all, Zelda is totally underrated.

This sounds great, but it's still a bit disappointing that they added some of the music from the regular temples.For a really authentic Zelda II experience, listen to 0:00 to 0:34, skip 0:35 to 1:11, and keep repeating from 1:12 to 1:44 until you get tired of clicking so much. Yeah, okay, that's a little lame. But that's how this track should be, dammit!
