RockBottom Blues Band

A rare gem indeed. Very nice arrangements.

I have this album and the stand-out track for me is the opener, namely Lonesome Road. I like this band and the Leader's trombone sound is instantly recogniseable.

I found the personal. Tommy Tedesco (guitar); Bernard Fleischer, Lanny Morgan (alto saxophone); Bob Hardaway, Jay Migliori (tenor saxophone); Dave Madden (baritone saxophone); Jules Chaikin, Bill Peterson , Tom Scott (trumpet); Don Nelligan, Bobby Pring, Bob Edmondson (trombone); Bob Florence (piano); Frank Capp (drums).

I've been trying to find out who is playing on this record. I would guess Bernard Fleischer, alto sax as he was my teacher at the time and worked with this band. Would like to find the arrangement too. Also "Little Jazz" from the same record.

My Dad Al Lasky played Alto Sax on this with Bob Davis and Louis Ciotti played Alto sax.

Not fair! 'Lonesome Road' from the same album really cooks!

Randall Riley

Totally agree- "Lonesome Road' is hotter than plutonium!

my dad used to play in this band!

Awesome! Thanks!

Gary Thomas

My uncle, Walt Thomas, played drums for Si.  Interested if he ever recorded anything with him?  Think he played in the early '60s.
