Fire Meet Gasoline
Sia爀 Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

It's dangerous
To fall in love, but I
Wanna burn with you tonight
Hurt me
There's two of us
We're bristling with desire
The pleasure's pain and fire
Burn me

So come on, I'll take you on, take you on, I
Ache for love, ache for us, why
Don't you come, don't you come a little closer
So come on now, strike the match, strike the match now
We're a perfect match, perfect somehow
We were meant for one another, come a little closer

Flame you came from me
Fire meet gasoline
Fire meet gasoline
I'm burning alive
I can barely breathe
When you're here loving me
Fire meet gasoline
Fire meet gasoline

I got all I need
When you came after me
Fire meet gasoline
I'm burning alive
And I can barely breathe
When you're here loving me
Fire meet gasoline
Burn with me tonight

And we will fly
Like smoke darknin' the sky
I'm Eve, I wanna try
Take a bite

So come on now, strike the match, strike the match now
We're a perfect match, perfect somehow
We were meant for one another, come a little closer

Flame you came from me
Fire meet gasoline
Fire meet gasoline
I'm burning alive
I can barely breathe
When you're here loving me
Fire meet gasoline
Fire meet gasoline

I got all I need
When you came after me
Fire meet gasoline
I'm burning alive
And I can barely breathe
When you're here loving me
Fire meet gasoline
Burn with me tonight

But it's a bad bet, certain death
But I want what I want and I gotta get it
When the fire dies, darkened skies
Hot ash, dead match, only smoke is left

But it's a bad bet, certain death
But I want what I want and I gotta get it
When the fire dies, darkened skies
Hot ash, dead match, only smoke is left

Flame you came from me
Fire meet gasoline
Fire meet gasoline
I'm burning alive
I can barely breathe
When you're here loving me
Fire meet gasoline
Fire meet gasoline

I got all I need
When you came after me
Fire meet gasoline
I'm burning alive
And I can barely breathe,
When you're here loving me
Fire meet gasoline
Burn with me tonight yeah

Burn with me tonight

Burn with me tonight
Burn with me tonight, eh eh

Regarding the price, sure, much of it may be paying back research (to make it small, have that many sensors and so on) testing (to make sure its stable, reliable, that it doesnt just shut off) and so on. Amd part of it i'm sure its quality parts that can withstand lots of stress. Also, some sensors like IR cameras and such are not cheap.

HOWEVER its still too high.

Another thing we must consider, the people making it are for sure not chinese or vietnamese low wage employees. But well payed employees.

Also also, factor in that governments are not buying millions of these, only a few hundred thousand at most.

So if we got lets say 5 thousand million in pre production costs and only 100k are sold, to the actual production price you must add 50k to each unit just to break even.

For a DJI which sells maybe 2-3 million units, with maybe 5-100million in research (tops) you'd only have to add maybe 50-100 bucks.

Aaaand then you have healthy profit margins.
So lets say a 1000usd unit. 50k to repay research. and then add some extra 50k to make some cash and you already got a 100k product

Regardless of how advanced this thing is, there is no way the production costs justify the price

@gregm9213

because they allow lobbying which is stuffing politicians pockets for contracts like those.

@harrisonh8664

This was drone was made in 2008 hence the price tag

@Cedrik_BOI

@Harrison H What would be the price of such mini drone if it was designed with today's technology?
