Siames Lyrics

SHOW ME YOUR HEART
GIMME SOME SWEET
SHOW ME YOUR HEART
GIMME SOME SWEET

SO MAYBE I'M IN NEED OF AFFECTION
MAYBE I'M IN NEED OF A WAY OUT OF THIS BLUE
OR MAYBE I DON'T GET YOUR REJECTION
YOU TREAT ME LIKE AN ENEMY JUST TO ESCAPE FROM YOU

DON'T BLAME ME FOR THE TIMES I TRIED TO PLAY MY PART
HOW HARD YOU THINK YOU TRIED?

OR MAYBE IS JUST A WAY OF PROTECTION
BUT I DON'T WANNA FEEL LIKE THERE'S NOTHING ELSE TO DO

SHOW ME YOUR HEART
GIMME SOME SWEET
SHOW ME YOUR HEART
GIMME SOME SWEET

It's alright
it's alright
it's aright now
it's alright

SHOW ME YOUR HEART
GIMME SOME SWEET

SHOW ME YOUR HEART
GIMME SOME SWEET

Overall Meaning

The lyrics of Siames' song "Gimme Some Sweet" is an introspective narrative that navigates through the struggles of a person's emotional turmoil. The first verse, "maybe I'm in need of affection, maybe I'm in need of a way out of this blue" suggests a feeling of loneliness and a yearning for love and attention. The second line, "or maybe I don't get your rejection, you treat me like an enemy just to escape from you" speaks to the conflict the singer is feeling in a relationship where their partner seems to be pushing them away.

The chorus, "show me your heart, gimme some sweet" is a plea for the partner to open up and show some vulnerability, to let the singer in and offer some love and affection. The lines "or maybe is just a way of protection, but I don't wanna feel like there's nothing else to do" suggest that the partner's rejection may be a defense mechanism, but the singer is unwilling to give up and feels trapped in the situation.

The repetition of "it's alright, it's alright, it's alright now, it's alright" in the bridge serves to reassure the singer, almost as if they're trying to convince themselves that everything will be okay. Ultimately, the song is a plea for emotional connection and an escape from feeling trapped and alone.

I think the entirety of the album is about a broken heart.
I'll start: the wolf is the desperation, the anger of the couple separating, one of the partners not fully agreeing and saying they'll be with them again.
Firestorm being the pain passed through the pain of the separation.
Mr. Fear being the paranoia, the fear of not making it through, the depression, which will never disappear no matter what.
Stronger is the sensation after some time of feeling better, but not enough, without being sure if that person is really getting over it or is just an impression.
Used to be is the past of the dramma. The other partner saying they are not the person they used to know to the other partner, being changed drastically to the point of making the other partner unsure of what they feel and not taking it anymore.
As you get high is the presumption of the other partner which the main singer tells through the album, where they gets more succesful in life then him.
The cave is a lot of time later, the two remeeting, the singer blaming the partner of running away with all the promises and love they gave to them, that drastically, and saying they cannot see them anymore and cannot feel anything anymore, damaged by the experience and still being unsure, maybe still loving the partner of their.
No Honey is instead the partner wanting to come back with them but the other partner/singer, knowing what game they are playing, says they cannot show them their love if tghey do not show their true love, the passion of the other partner.
Gimme some Sweet is instead the blues of the singer saying that he needs a true way out of the depression that is afflicting him, being protected and needing shelter, forgiving the past of his relationship and accepting the condition passively.

This is at least my interpretation, as I listened to the entire album when I was heavily depressed after being left by a girl from Jelenia Gora, in Lower Silesia. This album helped me getting through what I was passing by.

Primero inicias con Summer Nights, luego Mr. Fear, y después entras a su canal para escuchar toda su discografía. Sus canciones me erizan la piel y llenan el pecho de una emoción indescriptible. Espero que lleguen lo mas alto que se pueda.

This song sounds really good and the lyrics speak well too! this band is undiscovered and deserves to be way more popular...honestly.
