End Of Time
Sigma Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

I can't see the future
But now I see wasted time
This makes me smile
See this strange poor people
Running away without home
I hear their crying
Every day and night
Try to pray with me
'til the end of time

My time is gone
The battle has just began
I'm fighting for a people
There's not much time
My time is gone
The battle has just began
I'm killing for a people
'til the end of life

Push the first red button
Feel the death into my hands
This makes me cry
Think to nameless children
Blame me bad for another crime
I hear they cry
And that's the hardest price
Can you forgive me?
'til the end of time

My time is gone
The battle has just began
I'm shooting for a people
There's not much time
My time is gone
The battle has just began
I'm crying for a people
'til the end of life

[SOLO]
My time is gone
The battle has just began
I'm fighting for a people
There's not much time
My time is gone
The battle has just began
I'm killing for a people
'til the end of life
My time is gone
The battle has just began
I'm shooting for a people
There's not much time
My time is gone

The battle has just began
I'm crying

Overall Meaning

The lyrics of Sigma's song "End of Time" reflect on the consequences of war and violence on innocent people caught in the crossfires. The first verse talks about the singer's realization that time is precious and how he smiles at the thought of his wasted time. He then sees the suffering of the poor, who have lost their homes and are forced to run away, leaving everything they know behind. The chorus talks about the singer's determination to fight for these people and to unite with them until the end of time. He knows that his time is limited, but the battle has just begun, and there's still so much to do.

In the second verse, the singer talks about how he has to make tough choices that involve taking action that can cause harm to others. Pushing the first red button symbolizes the act of violence, and the singer's realization that he has taken away the lives of nameless children who he hears crying every day and night, is heartbreaking. He asks for forgiveness, knowing that time is running out, and he may never get the chance to make amends. The chorus repeats, and the lyrics end with the singer fighting, killing, and crying for the people he has dedicated his life to.

Overall, "End of Time" is about the human cost of war and violence, and how those who survive have to live with the guilt and the consequences of their actions.
