Referring to their influences, most of their songs are based on riffs covered with distortion and overflowing echoes. They describe their sound as "bringing a high gain amplifier and drums into a cave".
The basslines are almost progressive but raw and primitive at the same time, the drumming moves fierce and violent on high tempo and in a sudden could turn calm into a drowning bluesy beats, while the vocals sounded like chants and moans, obviously affected by Plant and Ozzy . while they altogether religiously worshiped the Zeppelin and the Sabbath, each member also have their own musical background. Mirfak have always been a fan of the grunge god Nirvana, the highspeed aggression of Motorhead and anything masculine, while Jono is a heavy metal geek who embrace the holy father Dio , Iron Maiden and the uncanny Uriah Heep. Haikal adores the psychedelic echoes and progressions of Pink Floyd, the complexions of Robert Fripp and the zestful spirit of Jack Whites screech, Tama on the other hand has always been a disciple of Brad Wilk, and praises the likes of Sunn O))) and YOB.
Their interest in Sigmund Freud concepts of unconscious mind and their love for the whimsical world of surrealism are evidently showing in their lyrics. enjoying the exploration of absurdism and juxtaposition in their writings, Dali, Magritte and Chirico might have influenced them as much as Page and Iommi did, paintings made out of hazy poetry and heavy echoed chords.

Land of the Living Dead
Sigmun Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
The air was burning cold
The roads were all alone
The wind was blowing moan
The ever living man
The sound of whispering sand
Is my only friend
The dark clouds were covering the sky
And blocking all the lights
The sun was out of sight
The day was always night
The glorious of tale
Rotten in the hell
The only thing that's left
Was the grave
I'm in the land of the living dead
The lyrics of Sigmun's 'Land of the Living Dead' convey a sense of hopelessness and despair. The opening lines "I travel miles, I see no trace of hope" depict the singer's journey through a desolate landscape, devoid of any signs of life or positivity. The next line, "The air was burning cold" creates a sense of discomfort and unease, further accentuated by the emptiness of the roads and the eerie moan of the wind.
The song then moves on to describe a land where darkness reigns – "The dark clouds were covering the sky and blocking all the lights, the sun was out of sight, the day was always night". This could represent a metaphorical interpretation of a mental state or a dystopian society where hopelessness is rampant. The line "The glorious of tale, rotten in the hell" suggests a corruption of values and ideals, leaving only death as the finality.
The last line, "I'm in the land of the living dead", is repeated twice in each stanza, reinforcing the hopelessness the singer feels. The lyrics as a whole leave the listener with a sense of despair and uncertainty, but possibly also a glimmer of hope.
