History
Greer, Annette, Batti and Angela were in the same high school back in 1994 (Cheltenham Girls' High, North Sydney) when they decided to form the all-girls rock band. The release of their first full-length album, Too Fat for Tahiti gained them a respectable following, support places with major bands and frequent airplay on Triple J, Australia's nationwide alternative public radio station. Their songs "Naughty" and "Hëj" were voted into the Triple J Hottest 100 at number 50 and 80 respectively of that year, the album was nominated for an ARIA (Best Independent Album) and the band nominated for 'Best New Live Act' at the Australian Music Awards.
The band toured Australia exhaustively before recording a new album "The Double Life" which was released early 2003. They released a free download only single "Rock Nugget" which received high rotation on Triple J. The album received 'feature album' on Triple J, however sales of "The Double Life" were somewhat disappointing compared to those of debut "Too Fat for Tahiti". The band went on to release singles "Coming Home" and "In Your Arms" and played the national Big Day Out tour in 2004 alongside heroes Metallica, Magic Dirt, The Darkness and others. Early 2004 also had the band supporting Pink at the Sydney and Newcastle entertainment centres. At this point guitarist Batti decided to depart the band and moved to Canada to pursue other interests.
Following the replacement of Batti with new guitarist Gregory Boulting, the band toured the east coast of Australia and recorded extensive demos of new material which were to form a new album but were not released before the band broke up.

Never Forget
Skulker Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
don't let people change your ways
always walk on your own road
the past is somewhere i'd like to stay
sometimes it seems easier that way
i'd better keep my eyes ahead
the sun it shines above the clouds
burn your bridges then they're gone
and you wonder why no one comes
never forget what's gone wrong
keep on the path that brings you home
always rise up with the day
the past is somewhere i'd like to remain
it seems easier that way
i'd better keep my eyes ahead
Skulker's song Never Forget is all about staying true to oneself, not allowing others to dictate one's path, and remaining resolute in the face of adversity. The song communicates the importance of not being persuaded to change one's course of action, holding onto the lessons learned from past mistakes, and carrying on with a determined attitude.
The lyrics emphasize the idea of being self-sufficient and forging ahead despite the challenges that life throws at us. The past is not to be forgotten but rather it should serve as a reminder of the experiences we've had to better inform our decisions and path forward. The imagery of burnt bridges is used to show how cutting ties with the negativity of the past is necessary for personal growth and moving forward.
In the chorus, Skulker encourages the listener to keep moving forward, not looking back, and to keep their eyes fixed on what lies ahead. This can be seen as a reminder not to dwell on the past and instead to focus on the future and what can be achieved.
