First I opened my eyes
As I entered this new world, I became conscious of my surroundings.

Then I felt such a strange breeze
A new sensation came over me as I experienced the climate of this unknown place.

I had traveled to a world made of blocks
I realized that I was no longer in my familiar reality but had been transported to a world constructed entirely of blocks.

Totally unbeknownst to me
I had no idea how I arrived or what awaited me in this new land.

When you play Mine, Mine, Minecraft
I recognized the reality of this strange new world, and that it was a manifestation of the game, Minecraft.

There were animals all across the land
The world was teeming with life, animals of all sorts, which made it clear that it was not an empty place.

Villagers working hard hand in hand
I saw the villages thriving with life, and the villagers working together to maintain their shared environment.

There were roses, mountains, and a big blue sea
The world presented a diverse array of vegetation and geography that mirrored the beauty of my previous reality.

Even trees as far as the eye could see
The trees spread out as far as my eyes could see and marked the natural landscape of the environment.

How’d this happen?
I was still unsure of how I found myself in this new place and puzzled by its origins.

Why am I here?
I was searching for a reason, purpose and an understanding of why I was brought to this unfamiliar land.

What’s my purpose in this place?
I was in search of my place in this world, and what I must do next.

Who’s that coming?
Awareness of an unknown danger that lurked surfaced as I sensed something approaching.

What am I hearing?
I could hear the dangerous creatures of the night coming, and it left me feeling quite threatened.

As the night approaches, I should go and hide
The night brought with it danger and terror, and it was imperative to find a safe place to hide.

There’s all sorts of creatures, run with all my might
I was pursued by various terrors of the night, and I was running with all the strength I could muster.

Enderman and zombies, creepers who go hide
The creatures pursuing me included Enderman, zombies, and creepers, each with their unique strategies to end me.

Either live or die, it’s up for me to decide
My life was on the line, and I had to make a decision between fight and flight to survive.
