Their self-titled debut album was released on June 6th of 2006, and received positive reviews. Sleepaway has been compared to indie rock giants such as Jimmy Eat World, and The Get Up Kids. This band combines shimmering guitar sounds with smooth vocals and piano melodies reminiscent of late 90's alternative rock legends The Gin Blossoms and The Goo Goo Dolls. However, Sleepaway disbanded shortly after the release of their self-titled debut. There has been talks of them getting back together for another CD on their Myspace page.
