After meeting producer Conal Herron in London they decided to record Slow Skies debut EP Silhouettes together in the winter of 2011/12 in different sitting rooms in Dublin, Donegal and Wexford. Blending folk pop melodies with strings, a harmonium, kitchen cabinet percussion and soft guitars, Slow Skies weighs somewhere between folk and pop music. With no set band Karen plans to play her gigs with different friends in different cities over the summer and winter months of 2012.

Overall Meaning
