While touring in Ireland, the discovered the audience would cheer back "Who the Fuck is Alice?". As it turns out , this was a ritual at a Café in Nijmegen (the Netherlands) called "Gompie". The group decided to "cover" this version with comedian Roy Chubby Brown having the honor of yelling "Alice, Who the Fuck is Alice?" during the chorus. Thus, Smokie holds the record as the first group to have a top ten song with the word "fuck" in it.

Вот это да! Подлинный раритет! Это не из альбома Burnin' Ambition, это из компиляции Bravo hits 7 94 года! Все-таки была она хитом, есть справедливость на свете! Непонятно, правда, почему на фотографии стоит обложка сборника, который выходил только в России, и там этой песни нет -))) Причем эта версия делалась специально для этого альбома, потому что слова другие - Смоуки переписали текст песни! Я сначала подумала, что с ума схожу - я эту песню обожаю и знаю наизусть - а тут слова другие! Но, кстати, классный текст, мне нравится даже больше, чем оригинал. Поначалу я подумала, что опять сделали новую версию, но они никогда не меняли слова, да и на Крафта не похоже. Да уж, век живи - век учись - и всегда что-то новое.
