1. Sneaker was a West Coast American rock music band, active from 1973 to 1982. The band is best known for its Billboard Hot 100 Top 40 hit single, "More Than Just the Two of Us", from its first album, Sneaker (1981). They also had a minor hit with "Don't Let Me In", a song written by Donald Fagen & Walter Becker from Steely Dan.
Sneaker was composed of Tim Torrance on guitars, Mitch Crane on vocals and guitars, Michael Carey Schneider on vocals and keyboards, Mike Hughes on drums, Michael Cottage on bass guitar, and Jim King on keyboards, synthesizers, and vibes. The band cited as its primary musical influences Steely Dan, The Eagles, and The Doobie Brothers. They released 2 studio albums on Handshake Records, Sneaker, in 1981 and Loose In The World, in 1982. Both albums were produced by Jeff "Skunk" Baxter. In 2001, Cool Sound Records, a Japanese record label, released Early On, a collection of their early recordings and, in 2003, released Footprints In Japan, a 1982 live recording from Osaka & Tokyo, Japan.
The group's name "Sneaker" was shortened from "Bad Sneakers" taken from the Steely Dan tune "Bad Sneakers" from their "Katy Lied" LP.
2. Sneaker were a Sydney band operating in the early to mid 1990's. They had 2 tracks on the Serum Records compilation, Half-life, which featured other bands from Sydney at the time.
3. Sneaker has been on a mission to reveal the origins of electronic music for about fifteen years now. Whether as a producer, DJ, live act, promoter of the ElektroTekknoKlash-club nights in Jena or as one of the owner of the eponymous label – he’s doing it properly but always after careful consideration. Early on, he fell in love with Detroit and Chicago but furthermore there are the obscure Italo-, New Wave- and Minimal Synth-gems that make his sets special and provide his productions with that certain Sneaker-flavour. If he doesn’t reflect on dance music’s history, the student of fine arts travels extensively or shuttles between his part-time- hometowns Dresden, Jena and Berlin. With the pricky bomb that is You Think You Think! he’s become a member of the Uncanny Valley-family now.

Waking early Sunday morning,
You're not my church,
It's just the bells,
Ringing sweetly through the house,
And in this sense of mine,
You're not this prayer.
You're still in reach,
Wasting early Sunday morning
You're not my lead,
You're just my help,
Talk the edge off sheer denial
And in this state of mine
You're what I want,
Nothing closeto what I need
I breathe you in x4
Suit yourself,lose myself
Breaking early Sunday morning
You're not the sun
You're not my church,
I still hold some self-control,
But in this sense of mine
I'm still too high, look no hands
I breathe you in x4
The lyrics of Sneaker Pimps's song Wasted Early Sunday Morning is about someone who is indulging in a hedonistic lifestyle, using something or someone to escape reality. The opening lines, "You're not the sun, it's just a light, waking early Sunday morning, you're not my church, it's just the bells, ringing sweetly through the house," suggest that the person is waking up after a night of partying and the light filtering through the curtains is not the sun but a light source from within the room. The person is also not in a place of worship, but the ringing bells evokes a sense of spirituality that they are not really feeling.
The lines, "And in this sense of mine, you're not this prayer," suggests that the person is searching for something to fill the emptiness within them, but this person or thing they are turning to is not enough. In the lines, "You're what I want, nothing close to what I need," they acknowledge that they are not making the right choices and they are not satisfied with the status quo, but they cannot help themselves. The lines, "I breathe you in," repeated four times, suggest that they are inhaling something to escape or fill the void.
Overall, the lyrics of Wasted Early Sunday Morning is an exploration of what happens when someone uses the wrong things or people to find happiness or fulfillment. It is a cautionary tale about the dangers of addiction and spiritual emptiness.

I restore and clean sneakers. Been doing it since 5 years and here's what I've learned:
- The Cleaner is not the key product, it's the brushes and rinsing, rinsing and even more rinsing:
I personally use 3 to 4 brushes. A soft one, a medium one and a stiff and brass bristled one for the soles. For tougher stains, a magic eraser works wonders. Rinse the shoe, once you're done with one brush. Once I'm done with the entire shoe, I rinse it under the shower, with a lot of pressure and squeeze out the water of the sock liner material 2-3 times. Washing machine is optional. Ps: I use castile soap (1 L on amazon = 12 bucks. Can use it for about 100 pairs)
- Different materials need different approaches of stain removal. F.e. if you have a canvas shoe, you need to do a ton of rinsing. Dirt can reaaaally sink deep down into the canvas material and needs to be lifted. If you don't want to rinse your shoe for about an hour, you can clean it normally, put it into the washing machine and wrap it in toilet paper afterwards. The leftover crud will rise up into the toilet paper.
This is just my approach of cleaning sneakers. You don't need to spend 20-50$ or more on cleaning supplies. Time and patience is key here. And I know it's a lot, I know hahaha. But that's just how I do things and my customers come back every time. Just wanted to to leave you guys with some advice here and it's up to you, if you wanna take it. :)

What's your approach for cleaning suede shoes?
@jmoore1988
Fz150 is superior nothing is touching it
@lauravosta8784
@@JaredEvans Brushing off the visible dirt first. Then more brushing with a brass bristle brush. Timberlands are easy to clean like that. A Suede eraser can work for tougher stains. If needed, you can clean them with some castile soap after that, but always shake off the water from the brush. Too much water can cause the suede to bleed. Once it is dry, get a medium or brass bristled brush and reset the nap of the suede. Done. :)
