Having played together since high school, the members of snowglobe have a unique ability create complex songs with a rich pallet of sounds in a seemingly nonchalant way. The Memphis based band continues the long lasting tradition of playing honest music for the right reasons. Many comparisons to Neutral Milk Hotel, and Elephant 6 recording company have been made to Snowglobe, and as natural as that comparison seems, it seems to be an easy way out, but Snowglobe has advanced far beyond this. Snowglobe sounds like Mercury Rev, the piano balladry of Tim Hardin, early 70s Beach Boys, and the Kinks. Snowglobe is a band that takes from past genres and pushes those influences as step or two forward. This is a very song oriented band. The noises and kitchen sink extremities arent thrown in nonchalantly, they are precise and subtle flourishes that add texture.

I love the fact that it glows in the dark. Lovely tumbler specially for people that drink water at night when the lights are off. A glowing tumbler would not require turning the light on!!!’

Such a pretty cup. The blue really makes me think of snow and winter! Also just an FYI if you get a cup that isn’t sealed well it isn’t a good cup. Period. The air pocket is what keeps the cup insulated. If air is escaping then the cup won’t keep your beverage cold.

Love the colour of this one, if I was to make the one with water and glycerin and wanted to colour the liquid what would I use for that? Thanks x

Thanks so much for watching. Coloring the liquid sounds so cool. Regular food coloring would work well for that. You want to use something that's food grade in case the cup gets damaged somehow and the cup leaks into the drink.

My friend dropped her cup and didn't realize it had cracked until she got a mouth full of glitter with her Dr. Pepper 😖💟

I didn't post that video because I didn't have enough people saying they wanted to see but Monica at period six designs has a video showing how to fix cups leaking from the top. She fixes them with u.v resin. In this video she shows how to fix that around the 11 minute mark 🌸💟

Yep, only resin on the bottom of the cup. I added hot glue in and around the drilled hole on the bottom to plug it before I added the epoxy resin. That way the resin won't go down into your cup 😁

I need to make this! I actually bought a tumbler already but Im too scared to drill into it haha. Starbucks tumblers aint cheap! 😂 Ive been trying to find a Dollar Tree one to practice on first. For the vegetable glycerin does it yellow?

Thanks so much and thanks for watching 🤗💙 I haven't found the vegetable glycerin turns yellow. I have a filled snow globe Starbucks cup I made about 6 months ago and it still looks the same as when I made it.

I saw on Michaels website they have these type of tumblers for cheap but the only thing with the cheap ones is they can leak if you fill them with the vegetable glycerin and water mix.

I've never had the Starbucks ones leak. Drill the hole slowly 💙

@@JBKonsCreations I get mine off Amazon. It has to be food grade vegetable glycerin. That's so just in case someone drops their cup and the inside of the cup cracks. Causing the cup to leak into someone's drink.

That happened to one of my friends. She didn't realize it because she was drinking dark soda in the cup and then she got glitter in her mouth and realized when she dropped her cup it cracked 😪
