His 1983 solo debut album after leaving Thin Lizzy was titled White Flames and spawned the hit single Bird of Paradise.
During the following years, White focused on touring extensively with his White Flames band.
In 1990, he was invited by the then, former Pink Floyd member Roger Waters, to perform in another take of The Wall, by the ruins of the Berlin Wall, among with other guest artists, and delivered a memorable guitar solo in the song Comfortably Numb.
Through the years, he released records under his own name, as well as under the names Snowy White's Blues Agency and Snowy White & the White Flames.

The Answer
Snowy White Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
His henchmen took some pills and fell right down
I could have told them that they would never find an answer
There was drinking up to saturation
But there was never any conversation
Forever acting, but that will never be an answer
The new ones slip right in and fall in line
They keep on looking, but they will never find an answer
And I am no man to make the same mistake
So I just took as much as I could take
Then I left him, 'cause I am still looking for the answer
The Answer by Snowy White seems to be a song about the search for meaning and purpose, and the futility of looking for answers in all the wrong places. At the beginning of the song, we are introduced to a king who has "lost his crown" and "henchmen" who resort to drugs instead of actually searching for answers, ultimately leading them to failure. The lyrics seem to be a commentary on the shallow and superficial nature of some people's attempts to find answers in life, whether it be through excessive drinking or consumption of drugs. Throughout the song, Snowy White emphasizes the importance of conversation and seeking answers in a more proactive and thoughtful manner.
In the second half of the song, Snowy White shifts the focus to himself and his personal journey for answers. He seems to recognize the mistakes that others have made in their search for answers and wants to avoid making the same ones himself. He takes what he can from his experiences and moves on, still in search of the answer. The song ends on a hopeful note, implying that even though the answer may be elusive, the journey itself is worth pursuing.

a lot of snowy white music is blocked on YT on copyright by his record co. someone should tell Snowy that most people dont know who he is and he wont be making any money from old recordings anyway so he should let his music get out so he can be known to younger generstions... also YT pay streaming rates...low as they are but its same for everyone... blocking recordings is bad old skool thought ...ie Metallica and Napster yeah?
