2) Social Club was a noisy pop band from San Jose CA 1985 - 1990. Influences included the Who, the Replacements and instrumental surf music.

So here’s the definition of a pineapple and how we came up with it. Ok how it started…we were at a show once and after the show a couple kids decided to “trap” us by asking some sketchy questions. Intentionally being hurtful so instead of being a jerk back we thought maybe we could make a code word. In case the other person got in trouble or weird situation. So eventually we started using it for everything. From when we see people try to steal Merch, to someone being jerky to other misfits…so when we say “watch out for the pine apples” it basically means stay away from people that try to bring you down. We love misfits, and we love getting crazy with them. We love u misfits. Stay away from pineapples

So, anyone who knows me well, knows that I have a rough relationship with food. This December I found out that I’m sensitive to gluten, eggs, dairy, eggplant, turkey, and my favorite fruit, pineapple.

Today, my church had a membership meeting, which I attended, and they were serving tacos. I was told they were having both flour and corn tortillas, which is great for me. But when I got there, the flour and corn tortillas were on the same tray and they were touching. I’m sensitive to even the cross contamination of gluten, but I love tacos so I was going to risk it.

I layered my taco up nicely with chicken, pork, beans, rice, jalapeños, and a mango salsa. Not until I got to my seat and was about to take a bite did I notice that the salsa had not only mango, but pineapple as well. So reluctantly, I gave my taco away and went back and made a taco salad with no tortilla, or mango salsa.

Tonight, I got home and was listening to Pandora. This song I had never heard before started playing, and it pretty much sums up this whole post.
