Unfortunately, those who have passed on cannot benefit from our success.

But there's no sense crying over every mistake.
It is not productive to dwell on past mistakes or failures.

You just keep on trying till you run out of cake.
You should never give up, and always strive for success until there is no more opportunity.

And the Science gets done.
We have successfully completed our research and analysis.

And you make a neat gun.
We have created something that is advanced and useful.

For the people who are still alive.
Our work has the potential to benefit people who are still living.

I'm not even angry.
Despite any setbacks or personal feelings of anger, I remain calm and collected.

I'm being so sincere right now.
I am speaking honestly and earnestly.

Even though you broke my heart.
Even though someone has caused me pain or disappointment.

And killed me.
And taken something important away from me.

And tore me to pieces.
And left me feeling deeply broken and hurt.

And threw every piece into a fire.
And destroyed any chance of recovery or repair.

As they burned it hurt because I was so happy for you!
Watching everything I had worked for being destroyed was painful, but I still felt happiness for someone else's success.

Now these points of data make a beautiful line.
Even though everything else is a mess, there is something visually appealing about the data.

And we're out of beta.
We have finished testing and are ready for release.

We're releasing on time.
Our release date is on schedule.

So I'm GLaD. I got burned.
Despite the pain, I am still happy with the result.

We gained a lot of knowledge and experience from this process.

There is little to no chance that Black Mesa will help us.

Anyway, this cake is great.
Even with everything else going wrong, this cake is still good.

It's so delicious and moist.
The cake has a great texture, and tastes very good.

I am still speaking, even when I should be focused on the task at hand.

When I look out there, it makes me GLaD I'm not you.
Observing the world outside of my lab is a reminder of how glad I am to not be in someone else's shoes.
