Sons of Korah was founded by Matthew Jacoby and Matthew continues to co-ordinate the project. Matthew, who recently completed his doctorate in philosophy and theology at the University of Melbourne, teaches on the spirituality of the psalms and his concise commentary on the settings of the psalms is a feature that is woven through most concert events. In all things Sons of Korah seek to provide an impacting musical journey into the spirit and world of the psalms. The other regular touring members of the group are Jayden Lee, Rod Wilson and Mike Avery. In most cases Sons of Korah tour as a four piece band though they occasionally expand for bigger events.
Sons of Korah is also a partner of the Bible Societies in Australia and New Zealand and in most cases they tour in support of the work of the Bible Society.

the city of God, the holy place.
God is within her, she will not fall;
God is her help at break of day.
There is a river whose streams make glad
the city of God, the holy place.
God is within her, she will not fall;
God is her help at break of day.
She will not fall
She will not fall
She will not fall
There is a river whose streams make glad
the city of God, the holy place.
God is within her, she will not fall;
God is her help at break of day.
She will not fall
She will not fall
She will not fall (The Lord Almighty is with us)
She will not fall (The God of Jacob is our fortress)
She will not fall (The Lord Almighty is with us)
She will not fall (The God of Jacob is our fortress)
She will not fall (The Lord Almighty is with us)
She will not fall (The God of Jacob is our fortress)
She will not fall (The Lord Almighty is with us)
She will not fall (The God of Jacob is our fortress)
The Lord Almighty is with us
The God of Jacob is our fortress
The song Psalm 46B by Sons of Korah is a beautiful interpretation of Psalm 46 in the Bible, which describes God's protection and power over his people. The opening lines speak of a river that runs through the holy city of God, which brings joy and gladness to its inhabitants. This river is often interpreted as a symbol of God's blessings and provision for his people. The line "God is within her, she will not fall" further emphasizes the powerful presence of God in the city, and the assurance it provides to its citizens that they will be safe and secure.
As the song progresses, the repetition of "she will not fall" emphasizes the unshakable security of the city and its people. The lyrics "The Lord Almighty is with us" and "The God of Jacob is our fortress" further emphasize this sense of divine protection and strength. The song ultimately celebrates the power of God and his unwavering commitment to his people, even in the face of adversity.

Thank you! Don't forget all SOK songs are "flat tuned" meaning the guitar is tuned down a half step. Makes figuring out how they are played a LOT easier!
