Tonight I finally decided to check this band.
The reason is... Chuck. He always wear the
band t-shirt back in the day. You can see him
where he wear one, especially on Human era.
Precisely during the making of their first music
video "Lack Of Comprehension".

I've been wondering, what makes Chuck
love this band. This is one of his personal
favorite band alongside with Iron Maiden, etc.
This is gotta be his main influence, source
or anything that leads into an idea for making
a music. Just like the rest of us, hahaha.
When the 0:56 hit my ears, oh... that voice...
I instantly love this band lol. Now I understand
why everyone love this band including Chuck.
It really reminds me of the first Iron Maiden
two album, which is one of my favorite.
I simply love it because it reminds me of
Di'Anno's voice. Not to mention, I can feel the
presence of Ronnie James Dio in this song!
It's like he's singing this, hahaha. RIP \m/

That's why this album reminds me of that.

He always make an unique album.
Each of his album is unique, interesting
and unexpected of course. Just like he said.
For me, and this is my humble opinion:
Death doesn't have any bad song on their
whole discography. And Chuck, he was one
of the best guitarist I admired in this world
and a good lyricist. He's very poetic when it
comes to the lyrics for his song. What a legend.
Your legacy is still going strong after all these
years. It's getting even stronger than before.
\m/ Rest in peace, brother \m/

I was listening to this in one of my favorite times of my life, when I was student in university and my new friends and I would share music and bands on tapes "Listen to this man, it's awesome, check this band..." etc. It has been more than a decade that I graduated and my friends and I lost touch (because life is unpredictable) , but I still go back to the music. Good times, very good times.
