Band Members:
Mikhail Dombrovskiy – Vocals
Oleg Pesochinskiy - Keyboards, backvocals, composer
Nikita Mikhailov – Lead Guitar
Anton Tsypin – Bass
Ilya Artiomin - Drums
Tatyana Popova - Lyrics
The band was formed in 2007 by composer and keyboardist Oleg Pesochinskiy. The period of formation and work on the material lasted until 2011 during which the lineup had changed several times. At the end of 2011 Oleg Pesochinskiy started to collaborate with lyricist Tatyana Popova. New lyrics made the songs more dramatic and realistic at the same time by touching on loneliness, vicissitude of life, eternal choice and complexity of existence.
In March 2012 Soundivers released their new single called Wax Museum that became a new chapter in the band’s history. In September 2012 they released a live album and a live DVD consisted of 13 new songs and 2 covered songs.
The protean music opens from different sides in each song: melancholic Season Change is not dissonant to rap-core Sammy Ray; traditional rock ballad Still Wonder follows hysterically progressive Egoism; while cynically positive Age of Unromance echoes in postpunk Time.
Soundivers do not follow the rules while looking for new sound; they do not copy mainstream bands staying true to who they are; they do not woo the audience blending one genre with dozens of others. This is the reason for both keen interest in the band and the fan audience growing at an exponential rate.
In 2013 the band is going to release a full studio album including 14 songs.
At the moment Soundivers is performing in music clubs in Moscow, St.Petersburg and other cities in Russia and near abroad. The band drew full houses in Plan B, Tabula Rasa, Rock House, Tochka, Relax, Hard Rock Cafe, Mezzo Forte, China Town in Moscow and in Revolution in St.Petersburg.

Still Wonder
Soundivers Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
You’re at the crossroad, feeling numb
And you still wonder
If you turn left you’ll never know
What’s on the right; you can’t walk both
And you still wonder
You can’t go back
You’ll find what’s passed
And needle-sharp regrets there
You can’t go back, no, and you still wonder
Way to the right's illusion-paved
It lures with something that you crave
But you still wonder
Way to the left is trouble-free
Runs like a river of placidity
But you still wonder
You can’t go back
Path of the past leads nowhere
You’ll find what’s passed
And needle-sharp regrets there
You can’t go back, no, and you still wonder
The fate can’t wait
And you’ll step straight
Out of all roads
Choosing the unknown
The lyrics of Soundivers's song "Still Wonder" capture the feeling of being at a crossroads in life, where one must make a decision and face the uncertainty of the unknown. The opening lines suggest a sense of nostalgia, with the mention of time passing and the feeling of numbness. The repetition of the phrase "and you still wonder" emphasizes the singer's contemplation and hesitation in making a choice.
The lyrics present two options: turning left or turning right. The choice is presented as mutually exclusive - if one turns left, they will never know what could have been on the right, and vice versa. This decision is further reinforced with the line "you can't walk both." The singer is left feeling indecisive and uncertain, causing them to continue to wonder about the path they should take.
The song highlights the impossibility of going back and retracing one's steps, illustrated through the line "you can't go back, no, and you still wonder." The past is portrayed as a path that leads nowhere, filled with regrets and painful memories. Instead, the singer must face the present moment and choose a path, accepting the risks and unknown outcomes that come with it.
The chorus emphasizes that the fate of the singer cannot wait any longer and prompts them to step forward into the unknown. The lyrics suggest that all roads have their own challenges, and there is no easy or guaranteed option. This conveys a sense of urgency and encourages the listener to embrace the uncertainty and take a leap of faith.
Overall, "Still Wonder" is a contemplative song that explores the struggle of decision-making, the fear of regret, and the need to embrace the uncertainty of life's choices.
