That night, my friend became addicted to crack.

One month later, he appeared to be in a very poor physical state due to his addiction.

Cops caught him with a pipe full of residue
The police apprehend him with drug paraphernalia containing drug residue.

I was sad but I felt it would help him too
I was saddened to hear of his situation, but I believed his arrest might help him turn his life around.

He got 2 years now his gettin' healthier
My friend is now serving a two-year sentence in prison and has since become healthier and drug-free.

His in the pen & I regret I felt for her
He is currently incarcerated, and I regret ever having feelings for a woman who caused me so much trouble and suffering.

I took her out to a place called Wizard Lounge
I took the woman I was attracted to on a date to a bar called Wizard Lounge.

She drank soda while I drank Crown Royal whiskey.

We agreed on a friendly date, no touchin'
