In a split second of time, I realize it is over at least that is this life
Suddenly, in a moment, it became clear that life as we know it has come to an end

And in my mind, where ever it was, I rolled it over
I reflected on what I had done and who I had become

How had I lived? And what had I done with my life in Christ?
I questioned how I have lived my life in light of my faith

Just then a smile came in, to the half that was not fried
A feeling of happiness entered into me, despite feeling tired from life's struggles

The smile looked at me and whispered, "Well done", "by the way, my name is jester"
A symbol of joy appears, and congratulates me on a life well-lived. The symbol goes by the name Jester

Raegoul, now to wonder
From here, Raegoul began to contemplate his life's meaning and purpose

Raegoul, always on his mind
Raegoul was always thinking, always reflecting on his past and his future

He was, as he was, when he was, walking down the stairs
As Raegoul descended stairs, he remained the same person he had always been

The stairs, where the lair, of deception had taken place, there
These stairs had been where he had been deceived before

But from this he was spared through the truth, as the truth was, for those who cared
He had been spared from this deception by the truth that is only revealed to those who care to seek it

But a trap is a trap, and I guess only the unsuspecting are snared
Even the most intelligent or mindful person can still fall victim to traps

Others are not, but are there, scared, bared, dared, pared, teared
Some may not be tricked, but still face fear, vulnerability, challenges, loss, and sorrow

He saw with his eyes, and the his eye, what was, what is, and what will be
Raegoul had insight and vision of the past, present, and future

And it was moments before, through-out the ages of history
These are the same moments that have influenced history throughout time

Raegoul, worked toward eternity
Raegoul lived with awareness that his actions would impact his afterlife

Raegoul, did today
Raegoul made the most of every day, living in the present

Raegoul thought about his mother who was about to die
Raegoul contemplated the impending death of his mother

A tear was dried by the speed and the heat of the time
The urgency and intensity of life made it difficult to dwell on emotions

The pressure of it all was really not there
Despite everything going on, Raegoul felt a sense of calmness or detachment

Because only what was done for Christ at this point really mattered
Raegoul recognized that the things that truly matter are the things that are done for a greater purpose and not for selfish reasons

Perspectives, perspectives, the way an event can make you see
Perspective plays a crucial role in shaping one's outlook on events

That which is now, and that which will be
Our current circumstances and our future are linked

The river of time has currents that are winding toward an ocean it is already a part of
Time is constantly flowing towards our future, which is ultimately where we are headed

However until the last turn of the bend, those floating downstream never really seem to believe that
Until we are close to death, we never truly realize that we are moving closer to the inevitable end

Mind, fried, sizzled, snap - and yet stronger than before
Despite the stress and constant mental strain, we humans still manage to persevere and be resilient

The tears of compassion, causing me to curl on the floor
Emotions like compassion and empathy can be so overwhelming they may physically affect a person

Reaching out from within yet not reaching, yet reaching
Sometimes, one may feel like they are attempting to make an emotional connection, but miss the mark

Knowing the end long before you get there, is a comforting thing in a time like this
When facing difficult times, the comfort of knowing what is to come can be a source of relief

Raegoul, God watches you
Raegoul lives his life aware that he is accountable to God

Raegoul, you've won
Raegoul finds solace in the belief that he has lived a virtuous life and has won the battle of trying to live well

This is it, and this it is, this is just what it is, what is it, just what is, just this what
This moment is what it is and nothing more

And with answers too, no need to ask, there's plenty here, just don't ask about, what it's about
Although answers are available, sometimes it's best to avoid asking questions that do not contribute to one's well-being

And round about then, it'll all sort out
In time, everything will fall into place and make sense
