Since then, they've gone on to work with worked with a number of UK musicians, including Maiya James, Robbie Craig, Max Grunhard and Mark Armstrong.

They have been creating music together since earlier this century but their records are only now beginning to find a wider audience through club and radio exposure worldwide. Tru Thoughts recently put out the Spengler track 'Good Things' on both their 'Shapes' CD compilation and their 'Shapes Y' vinyl EP. It was was also featured on Wagram's 'Nu Jazz' and 'Saint-Germain des pres' compilations.

Spengler have set up their own label and put out some more tunes. Their releases on Bermuda Triangle are distributed by Timewarp. There are three records coming out in the label's first year of operation, starting with the 'Beautiful / Justify' AA 12", out on the 8th of July 2007, followed by 'BT Edits' out on the 14th of December 2007. Look out for a new 7" in early 2008. Spengler's releases are already receiving support from DJs worldwide, and Bermuda Triangle releases have been played on UK radio stations such as BBC 1Extra, Kiss FM, Choice FM and TheJazz.

Spengler is also a 4 piece punk band from Dundee, Scotland.

Do you really think there is a different regime among African Americans? It certainly seems to me that those who are descended from former slaves have almost entirely had their previous culture stamped out. I can’t help but see African Americans as an internal proletariat proper to Faustian civilization.

Hmm, I do agree that many of the rioters now would constitute as internal proletariats (I also think that President Trump, whom I’m not a massive fan of, was correct to call them “thugs”) but I disagree that the protesters themselves would necessarily be considered as such. The early African slaves were certainly InterProles, but I don’t necessarily think that is the case today, as a good deal of them (a majority, even), despite their having a distinct subculture, are 100% western, and are of the culture. If you and your family have been here for generations, and were born into the culture, then you are naturally of the culture.

MLK and even perhaps Malcom X, the latter of whom was basically a hardcore libertarian in a lot of ways (and, I may add, cited Decline of the West as his favorite book), certainly embodied the Faustian spirit in that they were big proponents for progress. Even BLM, in spite of their anti-western rhetoric, strike me as hardcore faustians.

How characteristically Western of them to want to eradicate the past in the name of progress, is it not? Same with SJWs. They think everything is racist or sexist and want to smash the past. Isn’t it inherently Faustian to admonish the past in the name of creating “a more perfect future” where everyone is equal - a New Heaven on Earth ruled by the holy trinity of Liberty, Democracy, and Equality? We see this ethos in Martin Luther. We see this ethos in Martin Luther King. We see this ethos in the Founding Fathers. We see this ethos in modern SJWs. The only difference is that it has been taken to such an extreme today that our own desire to improve the future risks destroying the very cultural foundations upon which that idea was initially predicated. The idea has nearly fulfilled itself. The Faustian Longing to improve the future and destroy the past has finally started to become exhausted.

It’s source of death was within itself.
