Nuh up to fi mi standard
Nuh up to fi mi standard
You don't care for me at all
(Care for me at all)
And I found you only stay
To make me feel so very small
I just don't leave you alone (leave you alone)
Leave you alone (leave you alone)
You know man
Man will say dem love you but go look a next woman
Man will say dem single, don't believe it dem a scam
Man will treat you like a goddess or queen fi get a slam
Man will tell you lie like dem believe dem yuh head a yam
That is why me never ramp fi run di dutty man
Up inna every gyal DM, like every picture pon di 'Gram
Dem deh bangarang, nuh up to fi mi standard

To make me feel so very small
And I don't know why
I just don't leave you alone (leave you alone)
Leave you alone (leave you alone)
Well him ah fiend fi dah body 'ya, remember di whine
Feelings ah bother you, still deh pon yuh mind
Wish him coulda get even a minute ah mi time
Aww look ah dat, me nuh pay no damn mind
Haffi get di bag, enuh, no time fi waste
Man me nuh run down, paper me chase
Wan' forgiveness go ask God, nuh bring dat to Grace
From you cheat one time nuh come back inna mi place

In Spice and Company's song "Don", the singer is sending a message to men who treat women poorly. The first verse is an introduction to the song, with the repetitive line "Nuh up to fi mi standard" repeating three times to emphasize the importance of the standard that the singer has in her relationships.
In the chorus, the singer explains that the person she is talking about doesn't care about her at all and stays with her just to make her feel small. She doesn't know why she doesn't leave him alone, but it's clear that she is being mistreated and shouldn't stay in the relationship.
In the second verse, the singer talks about the ways that men can deceive women. They might say they love them but then move on to the next woman, claim to be single when they're not, or treat women like queens only to get what they want. The singer is saying that she won't put up with that kind of behavior and that men who act that way are not up to her standard.
Overall, "Don" is a song that empowers women and sends a message that they should have high standards for how they are treated in relationships, and not tolerate mistreatment or mistreatment.

I jumped with this band in the first section, we wore pink tie dye t-shirts, a head scarf and were given a water gun 🔫 Our band left the stadium early and there were a lot of drink trucks on the road. The band before ours broke down the stage so they had to fix it because we were the biggest band on the road over a thousand strong, we had so much energy back then and really did have a fun that day, great memories 💕
