I Do
Spinfire Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
for the first day without you
and now I have to figure out
what I'm gonna do
it's alright for everything to be sad
it's ok for you and me to be bad
you don't think that we can make it through
I do
I just woke up this morning
it's been three weeks without you
and now I have to figure out
how to make it through
it's alright for everything to be bad
it's ok for you and me to be sad
you don't think that we can make it through
but I-I do
I do
(guitar solo)
it's alright for everything to be sad
it's ok for you and me to be bad
you don't think that we can make it through
but I-I do
it's alright for everything to be sad
it's ok for you and me to be bad
you don't think that we can make it through
but I-I do
I do
I do
Cos I - I do
The lyrics to Spinfire's song "I Do" deal with the aftermath of a heartbreak and the singer's determination to move on despite the pain. The song opens with the singer waking up for the first day without their ex-partner and realizing they now have to figure out how to live without them. The chorus reassures the listener that it's okay to feel sad or be seen as "bad" in the eyes of society, but the singer believes they can make it through the pain and come out stronger on the other side. The second verse repeats this sentiment, emphasizing the difficulty of the first few weeks after a breakup.
The guitar solo in the middle of the song provides a moment of reflection before the chorus repeats, strengthening the singer's resolve. The repetition of the phrase "I do" at the end of the song serves as a reminder to the listener (and the singer themselves) that they are capable of moving forward and finding happiness again.
Overall, "I Do" is a hopeful song that acknowledges the pain of heartbreak while emphasizing the importance of self-belief and determination in the process of healing.

Love this ball machine! I have the original SpinFire and it is AWESOME! The internal oscillation is the best! I bought the one with the internal battery and I charge it downstairs in my garage with a battery pack. It’s pricey but worth it! And the customer service is terrific, they are incredibly helpful. ❤

Kevin thanks for the video. I am in the market for a ball machine. I was looking at the Slinger bag and i will say it still makes more sense for me in terms of cost. The Spinfire Pro 2 looks great but it's a bit too much out of my reach. I would not like to pay $2K+ for the unit. The slinger seems more portable as well. Everything fits nicely inside the unit. With the Spinfire, you have to put the balls into another bag to carry around.

I have a slinger and like it too. I think everyone has to make the best choice for them. You're still going to get a great ball machine with the slinger. Thanks

@Total Tennis Domination I bought the Slinger Bag but i sold it... it has way too much top spin. There is no option for slice or neutral balls. I also want to use the machine for padel practice and the slinger bag is absolutely useless for that. Just wanted to give you a heads up.

Don’t have a Slingerbag but have heard complaints that it only hits topspin balls. Just sayin.

I love your videos Kevin. I have the Spinfire Pro. Bought it about 4 years ago. I should use it more but it’s difficult for one person with all the balls, battery, machine and tennis bag. I found out when I used it I tended to hit way too many balls and couldn’t even move my arm the next day lol.
I do need to buy a new remote because mine stopped working and they are quite pricey they are over $100. I do say their customer service is great though. I think it’s worth the money imo.

I have had one of these Spinfire’s since 2019. It’s the best tennis opponent out there. Leon over at Spinfire is awesome, attentive to his customers, and truly excited about the product. Couldn’t ask for a better machine or service.
