NOT MANY GET IT IM AFRAID! ok, its one of those albums we all like getting stoned to? i guess im one in a million! as i love using jah herb, and i"m christian....and literaly grew up on this album along with all the other great prog at the time- genesis/yes/ELP/focus/camel/vdgg/pink floyd/hawkwind etc..... such a shame spooky tooth never made such an impact, but i love all their albums!! this one is very unique, and many get put off by the religious content, or if they are religious, get put off by pierre henry"s psyche sound effects!! what an album hey? 10/10 from me!!!

My favourite track on an amazing album, lost count of the number of times we tripped to it. Still have it on vinyl. I'd never have thought a reworking of The Lord's Prayer could sound so ethereal, trippy and beautiful.

Rest In Peace, Gary Wright. “Prayer” is my favourite track from “Ceremony”, an incredible experimental project by Pierre Henry (with Spooky Tooth).

This was my number one go to album when I felt troubled and wanted to weird out with a hit of acid and some great Tai stick. So good to recover it here and remember those days. To me this will ALWAYS be the best of Spooky Tooth !

again highly underrated masterpiece, like soooo many! and the collaboration of Pierre Henry (RIP), he was a real sound wizard here, what a genius of organic sound!! the music is slowly going to a dream or nightmare. I really appreciate the delicatess of this piece of music, impossible to reproduct this way in live for sure.

People like you just HAVE to drag current politics into a discussion about ancient music. Don't you? Your line of thinking is exactly what this era of music/people was rebelling against. If you were actually around back then (or even knew the history of this kind of music), you would realize that this music wasn't "Top 40" or "Mainstream" like today's "music" you for some reason HAD to mention on an awesome song from over 40 years ago. BRAVO.

Synthesizer definitely overused on this, especially at the end. It was a new toy in those days, so sort of understandable. I bought this album when it came out or shortly after, but was never really able to get into it. I never tripped while listening, so maybe that's it.
