I don't remember hearing any of Stacy Earl's songs in her heyday in the early 90s. Her name doesn't ring any bells.
I've discovered this video and her other songs only now and am utterly baffled: nice voice, catchy and uplifting songs, great screen presence, her looks, her moves... I for the life of me cannot understand why she's never been a massive star...
I understand she had the same creative team as Paula Abdul's, but perhaps her record label didn't fully realize what potential Stacy had and didn't promote her to the extent she deserved?

I saw her first on the 'Love Me All Up' single and my eyes went as big as dinner plates. Clearly a hottie and one of the singers I was most attracted to at the time. I have seen a recent picture of her and while she still looks good, she has more of an 'average' look now. Given her style is similar to Paula Abdul, I thought she would have eventually superseded her, but sadly, this song and Love Me All Up were her only hits. She then disappeared. So Paula won out over the long haul, not only in her music, but her looks too. Paula STILL looks amazing today.

I found s copy of your CD "STACEY EARL" at a local goodwill store I had to get it being my name is Earl and Stacey being my Daughter's name. It was meant to come my way. Indeed. I was hooked on her when she released her first single, "Love Me All Up". She certainly was a beauty. I had seen a fairly recent picture of her and sadly, much of her beauty has faded over the years. While not bad, she has more of an average look now.

Do you remember they used to play some remixes (like a disco mix for hoursFriday and Saturday nights) of all these early 90s dance hits? I wish I could find them somewhere - they were really good, specially the transitions between songs ... Finally by CeCe Peniston and Temptation by Corina also caught my ear back then from AT40 (91-92). I was listening to Paula Abdul and ended up looking for Stacy Earl...
