I'm certainly glad Stanley followed his calling in life. After buying Rocks, Pebbles & Sand in the early 80's, I was sold on his works. Journey to Love showcases his exceptional writing skills.

I´ll pass away still listening to Stanley Clark and everything he ever played anywhere. A genius of music, like everyone HE ever collaborated with.

I've seen Stanley many times with many bands, The coolest performance I ever saw was his bass solo when touring with Rite of Strings. He did a chronological order of his solo albums. Most of the audience didnt get what he was doing but when he hit "School Days" the place erupted. I think this is one of his better solo albums. He..... welll actually Return to Forever changed the way I hear music to this day. I first saw them on the Where have I known you Before" tour. I saw every tour they did and that one was the best concert I've ever attended, and I've attended well over 1,000 concerts.

I have an original vinyl copy of this album. I was right into jazz/rock fusion at the time and still love it.
