The band, which also includes Emi Asta and Tony Baptist, have shared the stage with the likes of Y&T, Pat Benatar, Lynch Mob, and Dio's Disciples, while creating fans wherever they play courtesy of their high-energy stage show and the music they write. Station have been very prolific in terms of releasing new albums ('More Than The Moon' in 2018, 'Stained Glass' in 2019 and 'Perspective' in 2021). 3) Station (normally stylized as STATION) is the ambient project of a producer from the United States. STATION began in 2008 and communicates messages of yearning, haunting, and isolation.
4) Station is an electronic band from Elyria, OH. Its members consist of friends, Ryan Plas, and Bret Tilden.
Taking an unconventional approach to electronic music, Station limits themselves to hardware synths, drum machines and samplers, in combination with battery powered devices such as old casio tones, sound books, delay pedals, and tape players. All of these work together to make hypnotizing drones, clubbin beats, and throwback melodies that one can get lost in. Station is currently writing new material and organizing compiled footage to hopefully record an ep and vhs to put out by the end of summer 2011.
Never Enough

We'd walk away together
And the last time that I told you so
I said it's been forever
I feel I'm going crazy without your love
I'm waiting on a maybe for your love (love)
To walk you home in the rain (in the rain)
It's never enough
To think you're feeling the same
If you keep your eyes shut all the time
Your heart cannot be broken
So you show your soul by way of wine
When your mind can't hear what's spoken
I feel I'm going crazy without your love
I'm waiting on a maybe for your love (love)
It's never enough
To walk you home in the rain (in the rain)
It's never enough
To think you're feeling the same
And though I tried to tell you what can I do
You didn't want to listen 'cause my words might ring true
The mirror wouldn't show you the way I saw you
It's never enough
No it's never enough
It's never enough
No it's never enough
It's never enough
To walk you home in the rain (in the rain)
It's never enough
To think you're feeling the same
Never enough
Never enough
Never enough
Never enough
Never enough
Never enough
Never enough
Never enough
The lyrics of "Never Enough" by Station evoke a sense of longing, yearning, and heartache in a relationship that seems unfulfilled. The singer expresses a deep emotional connection whenever they are with the person they love, and they reminisce about walking away together in the past. The repetition of "It's never enough" in the chorus underscores the feeling of dissatisfaction and incompleteness in their interactions.
The lyrics suggest a feeling of desperation and confusion in the absence of the loved one's presence. The singer feels like they are going crazy without the love of the other person and are left waiting for a sign of hope or affection. This sense of longing and uncertainty is further emphasized by the imagery of walking home in the rain and questioning whether the other person reciprocates their feelings.
The lines "If you keep your eyes shut all the time, your heart cannot be broken" delve into the idea of emotional vulnerability and the fear of getting hurt. The reference to showing one's soul through wine and the inability of the mind to process spoken words highlights the disconnect between the heart and the mind in matters of love and communication.
The closing verses reflect a sense of resignation and acceptance of the fact that sometimes words and mirrors cannot convey the true depth of one's feelings. The repetition of "Never enough" in the outro conveys a sense of longing and the realization that no matter how much love is given or expressed, it may never truly be enough to fill the void or bridge the gap in the relationship. Overall, the lyrics of "Never Enough" by Station capture the complexities of unrequited love, emotional turmoil, and the bittersweet realization that sometimes love may never be truly enough to satisfy the deepest longings of the heart.
Line by Line Meaning
Every time I saw you I would know
Each instance of seeing you provided me with certainty
We'd walk away together
We would depart as a pair
And the last time that I told you so
The final occasion when I affirmed this
I said it's been forever
I expressed that it has felt like an eternity
If you keep your eyes shut all the time
Continuously keeping your eyes closed
Your heart cannot be broken
Preventing your heart from being shattered
So you show your soul by way of wine
You reveal your inner self through the consumption of wine
When your mind can't hear what's spoken
Your thoughts are not able to comprehend verbal communication
And though I tried to tell you what can I do
Despite my attempts to inform you, what else can I do
You didn't want to listen 'cause my words might ring true
You chose not to heed my words because they may be accurate
The mirror wouldn't show you the way I saw you
The reflection did not portray the way I perceived you
It's never enough
There is always an insufficiency
To walk you home in the rain (in the rain)
Accompanying you back home while it is raining
To think you're feeling the same
Believing that you share similar emotions
Never enough
Perpetual inadequacy

Excellent as usual, perfect ascetics and raw talent. A wonderful sense of song and melody, especially the guitarist never overplaying and just doing whatβs right for the song. If youβre ever looking for an extra guitar player on a track or two hit me up iβll play for free! I live in NYCπ.
