I will agree that he was a very odd case though and that the psychological abuse he endured in college (as a minor no less since he was admitted to Harvard at 17) played a major role in his downfall. It was a huge reason in the change from a genius loner to a bitter murderous recluse. He never lost his intelligence though, even if you disagree with him, his manifesto is a very well researched and well argued piece of writing. Not really surprising considering his academic background. My mom also said he was always exceedingly courteous and polite the few times she met him as well though, albeit shy.

Overpopulation is definitely a problem in this world, sometimes people who realistically cannot afford to have kids, have too many, regardless of national origin or race. However the one of the bigger problems that contribute to our climate crisis is overproduction of food, the fast food industry and fast fashion. Grocery stores are constantly packed to the brim and a lot of it goes to waste but they wont donate it or give it to starving people; people follow meaningless trends in fashion which creates tons of waste, harms the countries that produce it (Bangladesh is one the biggest producers) and it uses up a lot of water; and lastly people are addicted to fast food which is one of the biggest producers of waste, biggest consumer of water and largest user of meat.

It's not a current worry at a global scale, the UN Population Division predicts the worldwide population will cap out at around 11 billion in 2100. That's a huge increase in consumption if the current trend continues and the planet can't be expected to sustain it

To be fair, I saw an advert where a woman with a child (white) was waiting for her plane and talked to a man about how concerned she was about flying due to the environmental impact. The man proceeded to become quite sinister, telling her that her decision to have just one child then made her a hypocrit and she should kill her child to save the planet. To negate any backlash to the advert, he said that it was because they were from a first world country thus consumed more. This is indeed true. However, when a family from a third world country comes to a first world country (with high birth rates), isn't that an even worse environmental problem? A culture who values large numbers of children start consuming per capita what an indigenous first worlder does (or do we imagine they ride around London on donkeys and build mud huts, grow their own etc 🙄. It is not an illogical conclusion to draw that immigration does increase pressure on natural resources if it is from a poor country. The left really shot itself in the foot with that advert, trying to guilt white people into having no children and then saying we need to import more people, because we're not having enough children, to prop up the economy and move low consumption people to a country where they'll consume more than the indigenous population. Discourage immigration and discourage overconsumption in rich countries.

I've see it constantly with my own eyes. Where I used to live was fields and green spaces now its just like one gigantic housing estate. Constant traffic. Houses and new buildings popping up everywhere. Yet the so called environmentalists say its people in rich countries that consume more, maybe so but when they come come western countries they'll start using like we do. There’s something about this particular ideology that seems to disproportionately attract and inspire mass murderers. It’s interesting how combining two seemingly unrelated political stances seems to drive a small percentage to completely lose their minds. Seemly unrelated... but when you think about it, even genocide is an evolutionary adaptation to preserve the environment in the context of lineage selection. When chimps kill a competing tribe of chimps they are preserving the environment for their own tribes descendants.

@Rez Logan That's why I put commas around "wants". Mutation is random in direction but the process of selection is not random. It selects in the direction of survival/replication advantage.

@rawnukles There would need to be a mechanism by which nature “selects.” It is anthropomorphic to assume that a conscious selection causes mutation. Rather, nature disposes of traits. The traits that are left are the best possible, but they tend toward minimal adequacy, not perfection.

This is evolution 101. Mutation is random but Selection through competition is not. It has direction even though it does need conscious guidance.

Someone please explain to me how reducing immigration wouldn’t reduce whatever your buzzword is. Be it carbon footprint, co2 or pollution. Strictly following establishment narratives, wouldn’t stopping people moving from countries where less is consumed to countries where more is consumed be ideal? @User handle it wasn’t a country back then. It was a white country when it became a country and until very recently. I never said 100% white but it was super majority European. 100 years ago America was close to 90% white and now it’s close to 50%. I don’t like that.
