After raising my children alone their entire life, working 2 and 3 jobs, my oldest daughter suddenly died in 2021, my son sticks by me, and my youngest child 19, left and went with her father side of the family because she wants to do her own thing. Amen, words to grow on. Everybody that comes into our lives does not mean us good sometimes. The example of the tree is one that I use daily. The leaves, branches, and the roots all have a part in helping the tree to live. If they're not helping you, it is time to LET THEM GO!!!

Man imma hold onto that advice for the rest of my life. I've been learning the same lesson for far too long. I'll know when I've found my person when most things (not all) align. Last year everyone left me and it really hurt. I was dumped by my ex and my son left home. But I have learned and it's taken me a while that I'm ok with me and the way things are for me. I listened to this 1 month ago during a terrible breakup! I was in love and hurting so bad. He was the leaf on my tree and I wanted him to be the roots. I was angry. I looked to God did soul searching and cried but I didn’t sit in it. I learned to be alone and truly be happy feeling peaceful has been so amazing! I’m so blessed and so loved. I am love! I can’t believe it took me this long to see what God sees me as and what my soulmate will see me as. I’m always choosing my happiness and no one from my past can come back to this growing fruitful tree 🗣️❤️💃🏾.

Some people come into your life as blessings and others come into your life as LESSONS !!! And believe me, those lessons hurt. I'm still trying to get over a daughter that was torn out of my life by her dad (legal kidnapping by family court system) I try to reconcile but she doesn't want anything to do with me. I found myself back listening to this the first time I heard it I wasn't ready to let go and move on so it hit so different. But now that I am at the point of letting go and moving on and loving myself more it's a powerful feeling listening to this. I needed to hear this so bad today. Letting go is easier said than done, and it’s like pulling nails out of a wood board. The nail might be gone, you might even have blisters or splinters from trying to yank it out, but the hole will always be there.
