Lyrics:

Well, I've been lookin' real hard
And I'm tryin' to find a job
But it just keeps gettin' tougher every day
But I got to do my part
'Cause I know in my heart
I got to please my sweet baby, yeah
Well, I ain't superstitious
And I don't get suspicious
But my woman is a friend of mine
And I know that it's true
That all the things that I do
Will come back to me in my sweet time
So keep on rock'n me, baby
Keep on rock'n me, baby
Keep on rock'n me, baby
Keep on rock'n me, baby
I went from Phoenix, Arizona
All the way to Tacoma
Philadelphia, Atlanta, L.A.
Northern California
Where the girls are warm
So I could be with my sweet baby, yeah
Keep on rock'n me, baby
Keep on rock'n me, baby
Keep on rock'n me, baby
Keep on rock'n me, baby
Baby, baby, baby
Keep on rock'n
Rock'n me, baby
Keep on rock'n
Rock'n me, baby
Woo-hoo, yeah
Don't get suspicious
Now don't be suspicious
Babe, you know you are a friend of mine
And you know that it's true
That all the things that I do
Are gonna come back to you in your sweet time
I went from Phoenix, Arizona
All the way to Tacoma
Philadelphia, Atlanta, L.A.
Northern California
Where the girls are warm
So I could hear my sweet baby say
Keep on rock'n me, baby
Keep on rock'n me, baby
Keep on rock'n me, baby
Keep on rock'n me, rockin' me, rockin'
Baby, baby, baby
Keep on rock'n me, baby
Keep on rock'n me, baby
Keep on rock'n me, baby
Keep on rock'n me, baby

I hope you keeping rocking another 30 at least Robert 💪💪💪
Only 41 myself but I brought up on this music by old man who sadly past 8 years ago of cancer @58. Still, we're rocking on and keeping it cool as he'd say

last name first, first name last.

Right on brother. It doesn't matter how old you are. Before my mum passed away at 68 years old (brain tumor) she was a big ZZ Top fan. She got me listening to them in the early 80s. I am just like her in musical taste. Anything but country. That is just horrible crap.

Compost Corner

I'm 61 and learnt to play drums from this track in 1976 ..👍🎶🎵

This guy wrote and sang some of the absolute most memorable songs from the 70's and early 80's. Quite the unique voice and extremely talented.

The Rocker Foo

This song is so good that it doesn't even need a solo!

james Parker

come to think of it, most of his big hits didn't have "stand-alone" solos! Amazing,.....

Capt.Jack-OffGrid

All of his music is uplifting, the melodies just float in the air
