Still Corners garnered wide critical success with a string of singles including the Don't Fall In Love/Wish 7-inch on cult label the Great Pop Supplement and the haunting Endless Summer during 2010 as well as Hughes's earlier self-released EP "Remember Pepper?".
Their full length debut, Creatures of an Hour was launched on Sub Pop in October 2011. The second album, Strange Pleasures was released on Sub Pop in May 2013.

I once met a girl on a trip to another country, we could sit for hours inside her car with packs of cigarettes and something to drink on, and we smoked some weed with this kind of music in the background. Still to this day, I cannot explain the connection of our souls between each other and life itself. I could feel my soul blazing on fire of serenity which made my all being felt warm and my heart settled in peace. I could not hide and for the first time in my life I felt good being who I truly am, we could talk about everything in life and for some reason, we could never lie to each other, maybe because we knew it would be over in the next days and so we let ourselves live the moment, experience life and the universe with love. Still to this day, I don't know why we didn't stay together, I left for another country and she did the same. I met the right person at the right moment in the right place. I am grateful to this day for the beautiful moments we shared and I am every day grateful for living and having the chance to meet special people like her and you guys here. After all, for me life is about sharing the experience of it with the people around you in the most loving way,. I am thankful for this music and thankful that you all exist. Love and peace.

I think I felt the same thing in my Erasmus experience....
He opened my eyes to emotions that I have for people around me, that I should love everyone no matter what, and that love is not always ba sexual thing
